In the previous episode of the Smole...
Danny: "If the three of you had put in more effort into giving good and quick definitions we wouldn't have made any mistakes."
Yvon: "Are you for real? We're not the ones that actually filled in the words. You're gaslighting us."
Danny: "Someone's got to take the blame and I know it's not me or Harper."
~~~
~~~
Yvon: "I know my own abilities. I always luck out."
Laron: "Hey, none of that negative self-talk. You are a strong player, Yvon. You are resilient and don't let anything get you down. I'm sure you can do it."
~~~
Harper: "Danny! Why do you have a Mac?"
Danny: "Fuck."
~~~
Danny: "I'm seeing if the substitute professor is doing a good job of teaching my classes and clearly not. He's being too lenient and it's only the first assignment. He's setting them up for failure by not letting them experience the truth."
~~~
Danny: "You trying to threaten me now, Eris? I have the higher ground here. They won't expel me because I'm justified."
Eris: "Threaten? I wouldn't put it that way. I would say...more of a trade."
Danny: "I have nothing that I want from you and I have nothing to give you."
Eris: "I'm sure there are. I'll just have to think about it. I'll come back to you, love."
*
*
Yvon: "I was so worried when it was Harper's name called. I thought I was done for! Then there was the surprise non-execution twist. My plot armour saves me again."
*
*
*
Laron: "I hope she didn't get saved because of her good karma. It would be unfair to the rest of us."
*
*
*
Whether they're a James bond or a Johnny English, the contestants will infiltrate a secret hideout tonight.
Depending on their karma, the contestants have to go through a varying number of obstacles before they can get to the final lair. They each have two lives and if they fail two obstacles, they are eliminated from the mission.
They are competing against one another, as the first one to reach the final destination gets rewarded. This mission is worth 100 points.
*
*
*
Harper: "This. Is. So. COOL! EEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
*
*
*
Danny is tied up and needs to free himself first.
Danny: "Laron! Help me out here!"
Laron: "Sorry. It's every man for himself. You would have done the same."
Danny: "Fucker."
Danny: "Ugh, I need to squirm...this is hurting my wrists."
Laron: "The secret hideout is here somewhere and there's a suspicious miner on the playground. That only means one thing."
Yvon: "Woah hold your horses!"
Yvon and Harper start out in the hideout. They must first get past the security lights.
Harper: "Careful!"
*
*
*
Eris is on the other side of Vendon. She must first determine where the hideout is and head there herself.
*
*
*
Eris: "This is ridiculous. Sending me so far away? It's a good thing I have experience."
*
*
*
Laron: "Done. Now to move this out of the way."
Danny: "Ow! Finally."
Danny: "My poor arms."
Danny: "Where did Laron go? Don't tell me I have to jump down the hole."
*
*
*
Yvon: "Just stay there, light."
Laron: "Are you just slowly inching against the wall?"
Harper: "It's the safest way."
Yvon: "Yeee...phew. Close one."
Yvon: "Yikes!"
The next room is full of trip wires. Yvon has to make it across without tripping over any of it.
Yvon: "I see one here."
Laron: "Excuse me!"
Danny: "I have arrived."
Harper: "Aah!"
Danny: "Oh for Christ sake, don't scream!"
*
*
*
Eris: "I think I know where it is. I better not be too late."
*
*
*
Laron: "Damn it. I'm too fat for this shit."
"WEE-WOO-WEE-WOO-WEE-WOO! Laron has lost 1 life."
Yvon: "I nearly lost my balance thanks to you!"
Laron must choose one of the 5 rooms and enter the correct passcode.
Laron: "I'll choose this one. I bet it's the closest to the end."
*
*
*
Eris: "A miner in the playground makes no sense. I'm definitely at the right place."
*
*
*
Danny: "It's so damn hard to see with all this red."
Danny: "Yaah!"
"WEE-WOO-WEE-WOO-WEE-WOO! Danny has lost 1 life."
Danny: "Damn it! So close too."
Danny: "I have to hack? Consider it done."
Danny: 'A 4 digit passcode? That's only 10,000 possible combinations. I could brute-force this easily."
*
*
*
Eris: "Piece of cake. I hope the others tripped up here."
*
*
*
Danny: "And I'm in!"
Laron: "What? How?"
Danny: "They don't call me Pixel for nothing."
*
*
*
Danny: "So, a fun fact about me: I used to hack. You know those bounty hunters for tech companies? Yeah, I was like one of them. I was called 'Pixel' for my hacking skills. The security system at the hideout was so amateurish I could easily bypass it without even needing to brute force anything."
*
*
*
Danny: "Do not trust the one who talks about llamas. Okay, that's a weird caution."
In Danny's room is a TV and a pair of goggles that enables him to see a special film: a scene of each of the final five reacting to being told about their role. If he chooses to watch it, he will lower the prize pool he can get.
*
*
*
Eris: "Oh how original."
Eris: "You're not going to trip me up that easily here."
*
*
*
Harper: "I was so awestruck by Eris that I forgot I was in the middle of a spy infiltration for a moment. She was so cool! How did a 50-year-old just effortlessly get through a bunch of wires?"
*
*
*
Yvon: "Finally! I got really lucky there. Laron and Eris are still at it."
Yvon has to run across to the end in 5 seconds. If she fails once, she has to return to the start and try again. If she fails again, she will be trapped in and eliminated from the mission.
Yvon: "1..2...3...4...5..."
Yvon: "Yes! All those years training with my horses paid off."
Yvon: "Danny, how did you get here so fast?"
Danny: "It turns out the prize isn't here at all."
Danny and Yvon can hear 5 overlapping audio recordings from five potential Sims who know where the end location is. However, only one of them is the correct location. They can work together: some of the rooms contain hints about which leads lead to nowhere.
*
*
*
Harper: "Slow and steady wins the race."
Harper: "Phew. I'm sweating all over."
Harper: "There's only one room left for me."
Eris: "Damn these stupid codes."
*
*
*
Laron: "I have to solve some weird shifting puzzle where I need to move all the orbs to reveal a clue and open the door."
*
*
*
Recording #2: "Round dome...hard to miss..."
Recording #3: "It has been around since the 18th century...it must hide a lot of secrets..."
Danny: "I found a clue in my room."
Yvon: "What was it?"
Danny: "It said the final location had to do with llamas."
Yvon: "...Wait, why are you telling me this?"
Danny: "Uh, 'cause it's faster if we work together?"
*
*
*
Laron: "Woo! Finally. There's a slip of paper that fell out. The urbanite lies. What's an urbanite?"
Laron: "At least the door is open."
*
*
*
Eris: "It only took 1000 goddamn years."
Eris: "Heat vision goggles? I'm putting them on for sure."
Eris has worn heat vision goggles to avoid heat traps. However, this has cost her to have a smaller prize pool.
Eris: "Fuck!"
"Eris loses 1 life."
Eris: "I didn't walk far enough from it. Jealous of these curves, aren't you?"
*
*
*
Harper has to find a hidden phrase that will unlock her door and eliminate a recording.
Harper: "There are pieces of paper with cut-outs. Maybe if I put them over the texts I can see something. Ugh, what is that horrible screeching noise? It's making it so hard to concentrate. I'm getting a headache."
*
*
*
Recording #4: "There's a new shipment coming in tomorrow afternoon...it's a large sum..."
Recording #2: "...I cannot believe...they failed to succeed..."
Recording #3: "There are many secrets here...I think I uncovered some..."
Recording #1: "They try to brainwash young minds..."
*
*
*
Yvon: "Danny had a clue for the recording, which meant that the others did too. But Laron came out and kept completely silent, and then Eris came out and went straight for a recording. Nobody wanted to share."
*
*
*
Danny: "I think this is the one. There are no weird twists like the other two I heard. I'm going for it."
Danny: "Ah fuck."
Danny: "Someone blew up the exit. I have to clear the path ahead before I can leave."
Danny: "The poor suit."
*
*
*
Harper: "Nearby...the end is not nearby! That must be the pass-phrase to unlock the door."
*
*
*
Recording #2: "Yeah...I'm a big-time Llama fan and I'm disappointed..."
Yvon: "Did they wire-tap two dudes talking about sports?"
Laron: "It does sound like it. Which means they don't know about our final location. Damn it. Wasted my time."
Recording #1: "Education is corrupting our youth...the Earth is flat..."
Eris: "These is rambling. Fuck it. I'll follow Danny. That should put some pressure on the rest and make them choose the wrong location."
Eris: "Oh you weak weak boy. Step aside."
Yvon: "Wait for me!"
Eris: "I see some C4.."
Danny: "ERIS! WHAT THE FUCK?"
Eris: "I know what I'm doing. I'm a professional demolitions expert."
Yvon: "RUN!"
Harper: "What's going on? Why is everyone coming back in?"
Yvon: "Eris is trying to blow up the place!"
Eris: "Come on, don't fail me now..."
Recording #4: "Happening downtown..."
Laron: "I think this is it."
*KABOOM*
Eris: "WOO!"
Eris: "Now that's what I'm talking about."
Eris: "I better climb out the hole...damn it. I need Danny to be in front so I know where to go."
Danny: "I heard the explosion. The path is free!"
*
*
*
Danny: "Ugh, so disgusting."
Laron: "Coming through!"
The contestants have to head back home first to drive to their final location. As there are only two cars available, three of them will have to take other modes of transportation.
*
*
*
Harper: "Now that I'm the last one again, there's no need to hurry and mess things up."
*
*
*
Laron: "The recording mentioned 2 Bankside Road. That's the exact location I need to be at."
Danny: "Can't this thing go any faster?"
Eris: "Fuck! I lost him."
Danny: "Which one is the bridge...it must be that one."
The contestants' final location is at Queensbridge. Here, they can claim the fruits of their labour.
One by one, the contestants must walk along the bridge in the order they arrive. There are five boxes that contain different things or nothing at all, depending on their karma. The first contestant to choose that box can claim its contents; everyone else who chooses the same box gets nothing. The contestants cannot turn back.
Danny: "Here I go."
Danny: "Box #1 has 60 points. Tempting, but there must be more if the total is worth 100."
Danny: "Box #2 has a bug. I'm not taking that. I don't want karma to strike."
Danny: "Box #3 contains 1 virus. Absolutely not."
Danny: "Box #4 has only 10 points. Shit. Should have taken the first box."
Danny: "I don't think I should move forward. It could be nothing or a penalty. I did just use a bug on Laron...I'll take Box #4."
Danny: "I'm just curious to see what's in the last box. 10 points."
Danny: "It wouldn't have made a difference."
*
*
*
Laron: "It must be somewhere near downtown."
Laron: "Found it."
Laron: "I hope I'm not too late."
Laron: "I should be expecting a shipment containing my prize to come in."
"Laron, you have lost both your lives."
Laron: "What?"
*
*
*
Laron: "Turns out I was in the wrong place, so that cost me a life. I could've gone back to the hideout to figure out the location again but I previously lost a life by running through the wires, so I was eliminated. I was bagged and kidnapped for the rest of the night."
*
*
*
Recording #3: "Queen Sage VII is an adulterous woman...I hope nobody is listening in...I better not be bugged..."
Harper: "Bugged? That must be a clue. This is where I'm supposed to go to!"
*
*
*
Yvon: "The first box has 60 points. Danny would have taken this for sure, so there's no point in me taking this too. It'll be empty."
Yvon: "2 bugs...I'm not interested in bugs given what has happened to those who used them."
Yvon: "1 virus. Not taking that after what happened to Landon."
Yvon: "Ooh, 40 points...should I take it? I think others might be tempted to go forward and then regret their decision until they reach the fourth box too, so they might take it. Harper would. I'll continue."
Yvon: "An exemption! Oh I hope nobody else took the fifth box."
Yvon: "Yes! There's an actual exemption inside! Lucky me!"
*
*
*
Eris: "I lost Danny but I saw Yvon taking a taxi so I tailed her instead."
*
*
*
Eris: "30 points. Hmm, that's not enticing at this stage of the game. A high pot means nothing to me if it's not mine. I'll take a little risk."
Eris: "1 bug. With my karma I think that's the best I'm gonna get. I'll open it...and it's mine. Nobody has claimed this yet."
Eris: "Let's see what happens if I chose to move forward. Nothing..."
Eris: "50 points..."
Eris: "And nothing again. I made the right call."
*
*
*
Harper: "Are you going to open the door and let me out of the taxi now? Yes? Thank you."
Harper: "Box #1 has 60 points. This is a lot of points."
Harper: "But I'm the last one for sure. If anyone else also chose this box then I have nothing. I think it's time to be selfish for once. I'm sure there's something better for me personally."
Harper: "The second box has 2 bugs. I really want it."
Harper: "But someone else might have taken it too. Oh it's so hard."
Harper: "I'll leave it behind. There might be a virus ahead."
Harper: "Yes, this box contains a virus! Supposedly. I'll open this box."
Harper: "Oh my goodness, there is a virus! Phew."
Harper: "I would have gotten 40 points in this box. That's good too."
Harper: "Oh...but there's an exemption in this last box. I should have went all the way."
The night has yielded 10/100 points for the pot. Eris has a bug, Harper has a virus, and Yvon has an exemption. Has the group fallen apart and turned selfish?
