Kay: “Hello there. This is the last time I’ll be seeing you guys.”

Imogen: “You’re not joining us for the finale Kay?”

Kay: “Unfortunately I’ll be flying back today. I’ve got to pack up and reach the airport in 3 hours’ time. Sorry, but good luck. Remember my words of wisdom and revise your journals, since there’s an obvious trend between winners and the amount of revision done. Pick out anything that seems suspicious and corroborate with other instances of Moleish behaviour, if any. By now you must be clear on who the Mole is, if not you’re not getting that money.”

Imogen: “I must get it right.”

Imogen: “Oh I love my phone. Hello? Yes, it’s working! Goodbye terrible house! Goodbye gnome!”

“Welcome to the finale of the Smole, Season 10! We’ve made it past a whopping 10 seasons over these few years. We discovered the identities of 9 moles, crowned 9 winners and sent home 9 runner-ups. Who shall be the last ones to fill these spots? First of all though, let’s welcome our ex-contestants this season!”

“Firstly, we have Matteo Torres!”

Matteo: “It’s stupid that I left first.”

“Followed by Christopher Steel!”

Christopher: “Hi guys! Gosh, this suit feels a bit uncomfortable for me.”

“Thirdly, Helen Hall!”

Helen: “I’m back and my psychic powers are better than ever!”

“Next up, Guillermo Ichtaca!”

Guillermo: “Hi again guys. I’m ready to see who wins.”

“Last but not least, Amy Bull!”

Amy: “I could have gotten to the end if not for those backstabbers!”

“We also have a few other uninvited guests but oh well.”

“The final 3 are seated, waiting for all to be revealed. But first of all, let’s catch up on all the past sabotages done by our contestants, shall we?

“Mission 1-Most incorrect answers were mainly due to a lack of knowledge but some were really out to sabotage, such as Christopher thinking the Mole of Season 2 was Charity McProsper and Matteo saying the contestants resided in a sleazy woohooium hotel in Season 1

Mission 2-Charlie and Helen landed out of bounds. Quite a number landed in the bunker. Only Charlie got a bogey though and so suspicion on him was raised.

Charlie: “Aw…so close. Now I’ve got the chip in.”

Charlie-5 strokes, bogey.

Mission 3-Guillermo and Amy as well as Charlie and Helen could not complete the detour even though Helen was expected to complete it with ease. Also, Guillermo was trying to dissuade Amy from completing the road block, telling her to watch out for her safety instead and forfeit. Despite taking the lead, Tom and Imogen ended up being last because Tom decided to eat before doing the road block.

Charlie: “I fully trusted Helen for the detour, but she disappointed me. Either it’s all a sham and she knows nothing about ghosts or she’s sabotaging and being the Mole. How could she otherwise not get all 3 correct?”

Guillermo: “I’m worried for your safety, Amy. Get down if you can’t do it.”

Christopher: “I’m just here to say: I’m sorry but you are the last team to arrive. Now go home and take the quiz.”

Mission 4-Charlie chose not to leave the house at all and wasted his shot on something he wanted to remember. While Guillermo’s shot was nice, it was worth nothing, unlike Imogen’s and Tom’s.

Charlie: “I feel like this place was made for me…I want to keep this as a memory. How about this statue?”

Mission 5-Amy attempted to sabotage by choosing some contestants that she believed the others would not guess. The other 3 also threw in wrong suspicions to the table, one of it being Kay.

Amy: “…Esmeralda Ivy is another one because of her bubbly personality, though she could do better in her formal wear, but that’s my pick to throw them off a little. Charity looks nice too, but perhaps they think I won’t choose her. Same for Alexander McWee as well as Timothy Foyer. They looked decent, so might as well put them in to fool the others a bit. All in good fun.”

Charlie: “It’s a bit too plain for Amy’s liking.”

Imogen: “She must have chosen her! If not that’s being rude!”

Tom: “You know, she could be right.”

Mission 6-Imogen didn’t try to help the team. Instead she downright rejected Charlie’s makeover.

Imogen: “This is so not my style.”

Charlie: “At least try to like it for the sake of the points.”

Imogen: “I shall not suppress myself.”

“And that’s the main sabotages this season! Anyone could be the Mole. But before we reveal the identity, let’s invite the winner up on stage first. This winner was selected based on his/her performance throughout the game. The first quiz was 2%. 2nd was 3%. 3^rd was 5%. 4^th was 10%, 5^th was 20% and 6^th was 60%. Without further ado…”

“Charlie Ray Buckshot!”

Charlie: “The old man always wins. I guess this goes to show that the older, the wiser, the better. I was initially scraping my way through until I decided to get my head in the game. I guess that gnome helped me and I eventually came to terms with my divorce. I’ve got the money and fame now. Maddie made a terrible decision leaving me. Take that!”

“You earn 555,000 over 800,000 Simoleons! Congratulations!”

“Let’s invite Tom Wordy on stage now!”

Tom: “So I didn’t win. Boo. Still, I enjoyed taking a break from my usual routine and meeting all these new people, though I had expected more fans. I never was out to win this and in that last quiz, I probably flunked it as I was thinking ‘oh whatever. It’s the finale anyway. I don’t need the extra fame or money. Just choose one player and stick with it.’ Obviously I was wrong, since that player I chose was Charlie.”

“Let’s not forget Imogen Pelly!”

Imogen: “I didn't win? That’s…that’s impossible! I hated my time here and I worked extremely hard to ensure I aced every test! Now you’re telling me I didn’t win anything and I go home with nothing? Impossible…that gnome was right. I should have listened to its advice. Stupid me. Stupid me!”

“We still haven’t figured out who the Mole is yet. Who amongst you is the Mole?”

Is it Amy Bull?

Or is it Matteo Torres? Or perhaps Christopher Steel, the early leavers?

How about Helen Hall?

Or is it…

“Guillermo Ichtaca!”

Guillermo: “Yep, it’s me.”

Guillermo: “I wonder if anyone’s surprised. I wasn’t really high key and I didn’t get many opportunities to sabotage, especially when I left the game. It’s such a relief though. And being 5^th isn’t that bad. After looking at the quizzes, I realised I was just 1 mark short. Otherwise, I could have tied and maybe survived. I guess it’s my fault for not using that exemption. Still, it was interesting to see how this season would play out and whether the remaining contestants would overlook me and choose those among them.”

“You would have earned 245/800 points or 245,000 Simoleons, but because you left halfway, you would only earn 135,000 Simoleons. It’s still a considerable amount of money, so good job! You helped show that the Moles can play at their own game decently, at least!”

“Now let’s see the clues that pointed to Guillermo being the Mole. It’s very few this season.

This season took place in Isla Paradiso. This hints that the Mole is from Isla Paradiso.
Episode 4-The MP3 player only had Indie music in the playlist. Guillermo’s favourite music genre is Indie.

Imogen: “Indie music…hmm…not my favourite but it’s interesting. But isn’t there any other genre on this MP3?”

The TV in one of the bedrooms only showed G.I. Joe. The contestants would have realised this is they watched more TV. G.I. happen to be Guillermo Ichtaca’s initials, so it’s a clue.

Imogen: “G.I. Joe? Boring. So action packed. It makes me high-strung.”

Episode 5-Kay was told to sit below the picture of the waterfall, which was the only picture left from the previous mission. Guillermo took that photo, so it is a subtle clue to Guillermo.

Episode 6-When Imogen was taking the quiz, the bottom of a photo could be seen hanging on a wall. That was actually a photo of Guillermo.

“And that’s it! Thank you for tuning in to the Smole, Season 10! We’ve completed a milestone and we hope to see you on our next journey!”

Oh dear. It looks like Guillermo couldn’t control Carolina. She’s flirting with her brother-in-law!

***Penalties were supposed to be applied this season but were scrapped. Otherwise, Imogen would have been eliminated in episode 3 for being the lowest.

****Amy and Tom tied in Episode 5. Unfortunately Amy was a few milliseconds slower than Tom and was thus executed.

******The total score for the finalists are as follows: Charlie, 7.23, Imogen, 5.68, Tom, 30.0.

*******The finalists won by luck. Charlie and Imogen were not fully confident that the Mole was Guillermo. Charlie won by choosing the option with the majority whereas Imogen chose Christopher for most options.

Thank you for staying with us for 10 seasons of the Smole! This 10^th season wasn’t as big as I hoped it would be but it’s not bad. See you next time!

And we’re back on the Smole! Previously 8 contestants joined for a shot at the money and fame. They have been slowly eliminated until only 3 are left, with the pot standing at 495/710 points. Who will win? Who is the Mole? All this will be revealed now!

As the finale approaches…

Imogen: “All I want to do is to succeed in life, to lead a simple, happy, peaceful life away from the discerning eyes of society and those around. Is that so hard for a girl like me to ask for? I have to win the Smole at all costs, if not all my efforts will come to naught!”

Kay: “I’ve been giving tips and advice on how to win the game and how I won the game. One of it included looking your best. It just so happens that this is related to one of the missions.”

“Your final mission is to go to the salon. Each of you will be assigned to makeover another finalist. This is worth 90 points, 30 for every successful makeover which the receiving finalist likes. Good luck.”
