63.15-Punch my boobs

Previously on the Smole, the final six were divided into two teams and took part in a Japanese game show that fetched 60/75 points for the pot and an exemption for Cassius. However, a twist awaited them at the execution ceremony as they heard information about who could be executed at the expense of 63 points. With 224/745 points left in the pot, the group voted to execute the second lowest scorer which was Jovan. Only 5 remain. One of them is the Mole, but who?

🌸🌸🌸

Thelma: "This season rewards short-term gains. You can't think about the long-term reward because every quiz you're fighting for survival."

🌸🌸🌸

"Good morning contestants. You have seen the dangers and wackiness of Japan, but Japan can also be a peaceful place. Today I need two contestants who wish to go on a hike."

Cassius: "I'm going on a hike for sure. I need to be as close to nature as possible or I'll rip someone's head out."
Ashley: "Like you ripped Regine's head out?"
Cassius: "I told you I don't know who the hell Regine is."

Thelma: "I'm not in the mood for hiking today. You're already dressed, Octavia, so I can tell you're not into hiking today either. It won't be comfortable in heels."

Ashley: "I don't want to be in the same group as Lee."
Ashley: "I'll go with Cassius."

🌸🌸🌸

Ashley: "Cassius always delays the start of the mission because he would rather walk everywhere than to take a taxi as it's pollutive. But strangely he's fine with taking the train as he thinks it's more environmentally-friendly than taking a modern electric bullet train."

🌸🌸🌸

Ashley: "Here we are at Suiden. I've never been here before."
Cassius: "You haven't? Oh right, you weren't running around Mayumachi a few missions ago."

Ashley: "I don't know how your feet can take it."
Cassius: "It's called being grounded. You should try it."
Ashley: "No thank you. I wonder what the ladies have to do."

Octavia: "We're just told to buy some supplies."
Thelma: "How vague."
Ashley: "Let's go shopping! First things first, we need to find some black clothes and black paint."

🌸🌸🌸

Octavia: "We had a walkie-talkie to communicate with the other group. But we weren't given instructions on what to do so we just wandered around aimlessly and took it as a shopping trip."

🌸🌸🌸

Cassius: "There's a plaque with a word on it."
Ashley: "It's probably just describing the place. Too bad neither of us can read Japanese."

Octavia: "There's a street stall. Shall we try it?"
Ashley: "I hope it tastes of death. Oh my god. There are black Japanese Sims?"
Thelma: "Lee!"

Octavia: "Konichiwa. Dekiru ramen ya?"
Shonna: "I can speak Simlish."
Octavia: "I wanted to practise my Japanese."
Ashley: "Oh my god. They have these sweets too! Japan is so similar!"

Cassius: "There's another plaque here. I don't remember seeing this the previous time."
Ashley: "That was more than a week ago."

Cassius: "I can't help but think these are important."
Ashley: "Maybe, but we should enjoy the nature walk. We'll start paying attention when we see another one."

🌸🌸🌸

Cassius: "During our walk we saw plaques that I don't remember seeing before. Some of them had one Japanese character on it while others had multiple. It would have been better if Octavia had chosen to take the walk with me because she bought a dictionary in the second mission that would have come in useful."

🌸🌸🌸

Octavia: "That was nice."
Ashley: "Too sugary."
Octavia: "Luckily Cassius isn't here. He'll rage at how much packaging there is."

Ashley: "You must have very strong legs from all the walking."
Cassius: "How else do you think I beat Jovan at rock climbing?"
Ashley: "I have to admit that this is so slow and yet so peaceful."

Thelma: "What does that sign say?"
Octavia: "I brought my dictionary. Let me translate it."
Ashley: "We can just go in and find out."

Ashley: "What are these?"
Cassius: "You don't know what rice paddy fields are?"

Cassius: "Hey, there's another one of those signs."

Cassius: "It has to mean something."

Thelma: "This feels like cultural appropriation. At the very least, cultural blindness."

Ashley: "Whoa, everything is so dark and black."

Ashley: "I LOVE IT!"

Cassius: "It is a bunch of straight lines except the first one."
Ashley: "It looks like those influencer lights, then a broken scooter on the right."

Thelma: "No one on the other side is responding to the walkie-talkie. What is going on?"
Octavia: "Don't punch my boobs."
Ashley: "Not as perky as mine."
Octavia: "I'm more than 10 years older than you with a child."

Cassius: "Over there!"
Ashley: "Where does he have the energy?"

Cassius: "Remembering it like a picture will help. It looks like a fancy hat at the top."

🌸🌸🌸

Ashley: "Our shopping spree was cut short when we heard Ash over the walkie-talkie. They had to describe words to us that we had to recreate and take a photo of. Each word recreated was worth points with harder words being worth more. There were 75 points at stake and one hour."

🌸🌸🌸

Ashley: "Your first word is worth 25 points. It looks like a very fancy Eskimo hat on a foldable bike."

Thelma: "An Eskimo hat?"
Ashley: "There's a beauty centre over there."

Thelma: "Ash, hold on to that thought. We are going to the salon to find an Eskimo hat."

Cassius: "I can't remember what the first two words were. I'll go back."

Thelma: "None of these look like Eskimo hats."
Eskimo: "We improvise. If we can find some feathers or even a parka or winter coat we can make things work."

Ashley: "I need more mascara."

Ashley: "Are you ready yet? Hello? I can't remember for that long."

Cassius: "It's a box at the top..."

Thelma: "We need to find a foldable bike."
Ashley: "Too bad I only see a scooter."
Octavia: "Where?"
Ashley: "Over there."

Thelma: "Could you repeat the word?"
Ashley: "Certainly. It looks like some sort of Eskimo or oriental hat. It has a flat head. There are earrings in the middle and at the edges of the hat. At the bottom is sort of a foldable bike. Also a flat head."

Octavia: "We don't have a hat or a foldable bike so we had to improvise. We have feathers."
Thelma: "Can you describe the earrings again? What kind of earrings are they? How many?"
Ashley: "Six earrings, three on each side. They're quite straight. Two are longer than the rest. Those are the ones at the edges."
Ashley: "We have it. Octavia, take a picture."

Cassius: "I have the next word. You need to have a box and look like you're walking."

Ashley: "There are some boxes here."
Octavia: "These are crates. Let's head inside to see if there are spare cardboard boxes."

Ashley: "There's some paint. We should buy that."

Cassius: "Put the box over your head. I should only see one hand stretched out. The legs should be put far apart like you're taking big strides."

Octavia: "Like this?"
Ashley: "Perfect. Got the shot."

Thelma: "We're at a print store. Surely it's better to buy some paper and ink instead and actually write the words?"

🌸🌸🌸

Thelma: "Points to them for creativity but oh my goodness, the stupidity is fireable. It would be so much easier to write or paint the words then to depict them in an abstract manner. We didn't manage to find a pen but Lee did eventually find paint."

🌸🌸🌸

Ashley: "This is worth 20 points so it's a lot. Listen carefully. On the left, it looks like a demure lady with a hat tilted down. She's wearing a dress."

Thelma: "Don't give me that nonsense. Tell me how many lines there are and what kind of lines."
Ashley: "1...2...3..4..5..."
Cassius: "Let's start with the left side first."
Ashley: "That sounds good. Thelma, you need 5 lines. But 3 of them are curved. The other two lines are like a cross. There is one curve at the top of the cross and two curving out at the intersection."
Thelma: "Slowly."

Ashley: "Was I speaking very fast?"
Cassius: "No. How slow does she need? She's not a grandma."

Octavia: "We're out of paper. I'll get more."

Octavia: "Konichiwa san! We need more paper."

🌸🌸🌸

Octavia: "We hit jackpot with the print store. The owner of the shop was so friendly. He kept smiling and nodding his head and saying hi to us. He gave us lots of supplies to make our words. He probably doesn't get much business of our kind. It's nice to know we can make someone's day like that."

🌸🌸🌸

Octavia: "I'm back with more paper...where's the rest?"
Thelma: "They flew away. It's too windy. We need something to hold it down."

Octavia: "I got an idea. I'll be right back."

Octavia: "Hey! You up there! Excuse me! Can we borrow your snowboard for a while?"

Cassius: "Are you guys ready for the next word? We don't have much time. Hello?"
Ashley: "They are seriously sabotaging right now."

Thelma: "I have the snowboard. Take the picture."
Octavia: "Let me get a good vantage point...damn it, still not enough. I need to be higher."
Thelma: "Grab some crates to stand on."

Cassius: "I don't remember what the third word is by now."
Ashley: "Neither do I. But the second one is only worth 10 points."
Cassius: "But it's all I remember."

Ashley: "I'll go back to find the third word."
Cassius: "Are you sure you can make it back in time?"
Ashley: "I have to try."

Cassius: "Ladies, your next word is worth 10 points. First it is a horizontal line..."

Octavia: "Don't just splatter the paint like that!"

Thelma: "This isn't working out. I'm going back to the paper method."
Octavia: "But it's extremely hard to take an aerial shot. I'm not a giant."
Thelma: "It's better than whatever method we're doing now."
Octavia: "We can just draw the last word."
Thelma: "We need a canvas which we don't have."

Octavia: "We can draw on paper."
Thelma: "So we still need our paper."
Ashley: "What if it flew away by now?"

🌸🌸🌸

Ashley: "Thelma and Octavia started arguing about what was the best way to form the next word. Octavia felt it was better to create something 3D or at least upright so that it was easier to take a photo but Thelma felt it was easier to lay out paper on the floor to make the word. I personally thought it would be a waste to not use the paint we bought. Then the store owner gave us rooftop access so we went with Thelma's suggestion."

🌸🌸🌸

Octavia: "Lee! Can you get a good view from up there?"
Ashley: "YES!"

Cassius: "Beside that, there is a tiny circle on the top right of the second word...ugh, what's taking Ash so long?"

Ashley: "Fish hook, tangled fishing line, fish hook, water. Fish hook, tangled fishing line, fish hook, water..."

Thelma: "Lee! Quickly before the wind picks up again!"

Thelma: "Do we have more words, Cassius? Over."
Cassius: "We have one more but I don't remember what it is. It's quite long. Ash went back to memorise it but he's not back."

Ashley: "Fish hook, fishing line, fish hook, water...keep steady..."

🌸🌸🌸

Ashley: "Jovan taught me how to breathe properly yesterday when he dragged me on a run. He taught me how to pace myself and how to run on uneven terrain. I'm thankful for that because it allowed me to get from one end of the paddy field to the other without dying."

🌸🌸🌸

Ashley: "I'm back."
Cassius: "We only have 2 minutes left."

Ashley: "We only have 2 minutes left. This word is worth 15 points. The first character looks like a fishing hook. It's a straight line down then a hook up to the right..."

Octavia: "No! Stop flying away!"

Ashley: "It's futile. Don't bother. We're going to run out of time before we finish the last word."

🌸🌸🌸

"Contestants, while Cassius and Ashley had a nice walk in Suiden, they had to memorise Japanese words that you had to recreate."

"You could have earned 75 points in total with 5 words. You have 3 photos which we asked our local translator to identify what the words are."
Octavia: "3?"

"The first word is 足 worth 5 points. Unfortunately the translator had no idea what this was supposed to be."

"The second word you have is worth 10 points. Our translator could identify it as スパイ."

"The last word you have is worth 20 points. The translator managed to identify that it is 私. So that is 30/75 points for this mission."

🌸🌸🌸

Cassius: "That mission could have gone so much better. So much time was wasted and I cannot believe they wasted so much paper just for the mission. I really need to teach them a lesson but I'm having a creative block on how to mass murder Sims."
