In the first episode of the Smole, the contestants had to go on a learning journey in school, collecting learnings and reciting them to cash in points. 28 points were earned but some bags had bonuses and penalties, so altogether 33/120 points were earned. Jovan failed to cash in his exemption but it was Emmeline who scored second lowest and executed first. She knew too much about the Mole yet not enough. Who will be next? Who is the Mole?

Gideon: "Excuse me?"

Andre: "I'm just pullin' ya. If you used steroids you would be on the news long ago."

Andre: "I just wanna say nice gains."

Thelma: "Why are you standing over me and watching me sleep?"

Deo: "Why do you sleep with both eyes open?"

Thelma: "In case you try to destroy me in my sleep."

Deo: "Yes. But what is gender but a social construct? To call me male is meaningless, as I possess neither the anatomy nor the characteristics of a male Sim."

Thelma: "What do you say we form a coalition? We keep each other in the game while I teach you all about the life of a Sim."

Deo: "That sounds fascinating. I agree to your proposal."

Kaeleigh: "Ooh, there's a new restaurant opening in town called Teppanyaki and Tea. We're invited."

Jovan: "It's dead for a new opening."

Andre: "There's something written there. Dear contestants, welcome to the grand opening of Teppanyaki and Tea. Unfortunately the workers went on strike so the owner needs help in running the restaurant. Make at least 3000 Simoleons in profit by the end of the day to earn 80 points, all or nothing."

Kaeleigh: "There are some dried shallots in here. What can we make with that?"

Octavia: "It's too crowded in the kitchen. Too many cooks will spoil the broth."

Kaeleigh: "We need more ingredients."

Jovan: "I'll go with Andre to buy some ingredients."

Octavia: "We also need someone to bring in the guests."

Gideon: "Why y'all lookin' at me?"

Octavia: "I tried to add some structure to the mess. Kaeleigh cooks at home so she's our resident chef. Jovan and Andre are our store runners because they're fit. Gideon is a celebrity so he's going to be the mascot. It was initially planned to be Cassius but he wanted to make tea. Deo wanted to take the cashier role because as a robot he could ensure accuracy, but I find that so suspicious."

Ashley: "Wouldn't it have been better if he took the grill? Then we can market it as something unique: a robot cooking!"

Cassius: "We don't have any tea leaves. We can't make tea."

Gideon: "I don't think I'm famous in Japan."

Cassius: "For now nothing."

Thelma: "Have we settled the pricing? This looks expensive. I think we need to offer discounts to attract customers. It's a grand opening after all."

Deo: "What do you propose?"

Thelma: "A 30% discount."

Andre: "Kaeleigh take these and put it in the fridge."

Kaeleigh: "We finally have more chicken. But we need more rice."

Andre: "On it!"

Gustav: "What bad service. I have to poor the tea myself. Don't expect a tip."

Andre: "Rice wine. We had to get it. It's a special we can sell."

Cassius: "The store runners also took forever to get the first batch of ingredients. We couldn't serve them so they left."

Deo: "I calculated the expenses and revenue. The revenue was low but the expenses were high."

Ashley: "I notice that the pricing is low."

Thelma: "It was a promotional tactic to attract more customers. Andre set rice wine too high at first."

Andre: "It looked unique."

Jovan: "Let's all go home and rest. We tried our best and that's what matters."
