The Smole: September 2023

In the last episode, the final four had to duel each other for an exemption, to which Finn won. The Mole had predicted the winners for each match but none of the winners gave in to the Mole's predictions, so 0/90 points have been earned. The pot remains at 393/890 points. Will the group be able to make one last push to fill the pot in the next mission? Who will not participate in this next mission?

Ximena: "John, it's fine if you don't want to tell me, but I wanted to ask what happened between you and Anita. She was very upset and wanted to switch rooms."

John: "What did she tell you?"

Ximena: "That you are a liar and a psychopath. But I want to hear your side of the story."

John: "You say that like it's a bad thing."

Ximena: "Is it not?"

John: "One in ten Sims are psychopaths. If you hold a role like a CEO, that number rises to one in four."

Ximena: "Are you telling me you're the psycho among all of us?"

John: "Everyone's at least a little bit psychopathic. You are, I am, so is Anita. Denying it makes it worse. This world is made for psychopaths."

John: "Did she try to substantiate?"

Ximena: "She said you used her and nearly got her killed. Please tell me this is all a misunderstanding."

John: "Every action she made, she did it by choice. I never pointed a gun to her head."

Ximena: "What did you do?"

John: "All I did was ask her if she was willing to read Buzz's mind if she wanted my blood. She couldn't resist. It's like heroin to her."

Ximena: "I see. Thanks for telling me. I hope she gets the help she needs. Oh and for the record, I'm not psycho. You saying that makes you sound a little weird."

John: "I can present you all the facts in the world but if you choose to turn a blind eye to it, there's nothing I can do."

Aldrin: "Congratulations."

Finn: "Thanks Buzzo."

Finn: "This exemption comes at an important point. I still suspect you and Ximena. No offence but I hope one of you is executed."

Aldrin: "You don't think John is the Mole?"

Finn: "Nah. He's a nice guy. There's no way it could be him. How about you? Do you think I could be the Mole?"

Aldrin: "You're an adorkable doofus but it would be quite amazing if it turns out to be you."

Finn: "My only wish is that we earned at least something out of it. By that I mean points."

Aldrin: "The Mole did a perfect job here without needing to influence anything."

Finn: "Who do you think it is?"

Aldrin: "I'm not telling you."

Aldrin: "You're not a vampire, are you?"

Finn: "I wish I was. That would be so cool."

Finn: "Are you not telling me because you are the Mole?"

Aldrin: "We'll have to wait and see."

Finn: "King David! Coconut sauce! Mommy's kissing Santa Claus!"

Ximena: "Can you keep it down? Some of us actually have to study."

Finn: "You've been studying since we first met! Life is no fun if you don't have a little...well, fun."

Finn: "Maybe I should try singing. I wonder if that makes the poop come out more easily."

Ximena: "I don't need to know about your poop habits, Finn."

Finn: "Do you want me to sing for you?"

Ximena: "No."

Finn: "Aww, come on Xi. I've been taking lessons from Anita. I'm more confident in my singing now. Maybe you could learn singing from her too after the Smole."

Ximena: "I'll pass."

Finn: "You should try something new and step out of your comfort zone."

Ximena: "Why can't he just leave me alone? He doesn't need to keep rubbing it in that he doesn't need to study."

Finn: "Are you still there?"

Ximena: "Maybe if I start ignoring him he'll get the hint."

Finn: "Oh, you're still here. I thought you left. Since you're still here, I wanted to ask you where you learned to duel. You were pretty good."

Ximena: "I take self-defence courses. I also watched Lawrence use it when we were defending the garden. He's a skilled fighter."

Finn: "Clearly. We all saw how he got a few clean jabs into Russell."

Ximena: "If you'll excuse me, I need to revise."

Finn: "I thought we were having a nice conversation. I'm helping you not to feel lonely."

Ximena: "Who said I was lonely?"

Finn: "Rejecting every one every time has gotta make you lonely."

Ximena: "Well I'm not, I'm happier without them."

Finn: "Oh. Ouch."

Ximena: "Sorry."

Finn: "But look at you. Finally taking a stand and being mean."

Ximena: "I'm just being honest. See, this is why I can't tell my friends back home how I really feel."

John: "I've taken quite the liking to this little creature. I hope we get to keep it."

Aldrin: "I don't know what your dragon did to me but it felt bad and I didn't like it. It's too dangerous to keep around."

John: "It could be useful. I don't know what your dragon can do but maybe it can help you to become an astronaut."

Aldrin: "I'm not going to cheat."

John: "Everyone else is. There are a limited number of vacancies at NASA. You're almost 40. How much time do you have left to chase your dreams?"

Aldrin: "It's never too late to chase your dreams."

John: "NASA might disagree when you finally conquer your fear at 70."

John: "Don't see this as cheating. See it as a helping aid. Weak students have tutors. Your dragon can be your tutor."

Aldrin: "What you say makes sense but I'm still not fully comfortable with this idea. Anyway, we may be getting ahead of ourselves. We might not even get to keep them."

John: "Buzz is physically stronger than me. When you look at it it seems improbable that I defeated him even if I did use a dragon. There were opportunities he could've taken to end it before then and he didn't make use of them."

Ximena: "Finn has been vocal about wanting exemptions. This mission is very suited for him to earn it. The only way for him to sabotage was to deliberately avoid predicting himself as the winner."

Ximena: "I'm sorry you had to leave, Buzz. You were great to have around."

John: "It is always a shame when someone has to go."

Aldrin: "I made a mistake in the quiz and only realised when I hit that 'submit' button. At this juncture, any mistake will cost the game. I'm mad at myself for being too hasty and careless but there's nothing I can do about it. I'm glad to have played the game honestly and at least I can say I was upright throughout.
