In the previous episode, the contestants had to prepare for a harvest festival by performing farm activities and collecting ingredients for apple pies. Kara succeeded in making 4 excellent quality pies while Kearney and Trenton collectively shot ducks worth 30 points, so 80/150 points were earned. In addition, Kearney found a hidden exemption in a chicken coop, saving him from execution this episode. Will it be time for a shadow to be executed?

The contestants get to spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying the festival.
Kara: "Aha! A fancy egg!"
Kara: "Boo, you're just chocolate. I want a hidden exemption."
Darleen: "Ahh! I got hit by a sprinkler! Did anyone see that?"
Darleen: "Ack! It got into my nose."
Ze Lei: "You look familiar."
Francisca: "You must be mistaken."
Ze Lei: "Are you...Ming Dong?"
Francisca: "Oh, you are definitely mistaken."
Ze Lei: "I am sorry. I shall not bother you."
Darleen: "Hey, pardon me but did you just spontaneously get fat?"
Miriam: "Such fresh produce."
Virginia: "Indeed."
Virginia: "How rare it is to meet someone who truly appreciates fine produce."
Miriam: "Fine produce makes fine food."
Virginia: "Ah, you are a chef?"
Miriam: "Nope, I'm just a gal who likes good food and touring the world."
Virginia: "That puts you leagues above those two men. Do you hear their conversation?"
Kearney: "We have to keep in tip-top shape to protect those we love."
Maru: "What are you talking about?"
Kearney: "The military of course!"
Maru: "Nobody is going to attack Sunlit Tides."
Kearney: "It's that kind of thinking that will get an entire nation killed."
Maru: "Everything's so unused there."
Kearney: "Then why did you join the military?"
Maru: "Mitch told me to."
Kearney: "Mitch again."
Maru: "He's very smart. He taught me great investment decisions, like to buy over the military base!"
Kearney: "What?"
Maru: "And a street!"
Kearney: "What?"
Virginia: "I cannot bear it a moment longer."
Virginia: "Excuse me, but I couldn’t help overhearing your conversation. It is utterly deplorable that you are engaged in such a needless and violent profession."
Kearney: "Needless?"
Virginia: "It is just as Maru said."
Kearney: "His situation is different. The residents of Dragon Valley live in fear of dragons destroying the village!"
Virginia: "Only boors resort to combat. Have you tried using your words?"
Maru: "Dragons can't talk, Virginia."
Virginia: "And you—don’t even get me started on you. Talking to yourself and this imaginary man... you are utterly mad!"
Maru: "Don't insult Mitch like that."
Virginia: "Or what?"
Maru: "Or..."
Kearney: "You don't want to mess with him. I saw how he wrangled sheep."
Maru: "...I'll cry! Waah!"
Kearney: "...I have no words."
Virginia: "For once I agree with you."
Lewis-Charlie: "Nice to meet you."
Lucille: "Nice to meet you. Are you enjoying the festival?"
Lewis-Charlie: "Yup. Do you know what a 'shaka-brah' is?"
Lucille: "I do."
Lewis-Charlie: "Could you help me do it?"
Lucille: "Like this?"
Lewis-Charlie: "Exactly. Thanks!"

Lewis-Charlie: "You have no reason to deny me that stamp now. She is definitely a stranger."

Trenton: "I don't think we ever had a proper introduction. I'm Trenton Alto."
Luis: "The Alto clan...I heard all about you guys."
Trenton: "Great! And you are? As in, what's your relationship to Gino? Are you his father?"
Kara: "Father? He's more than that. He's the great Luis Toledo. He's a legend!"
Trenton: "A legend, you say? Then I have to get to know you better."
Kara: "He taught Gino everything he needed to know!"
Luis: "You flatter me...but it's true. The restaurant he's running now? Used to be mine."
Kara: "You never miss when it comes to food. What's your secret?"
Luis: "It comes with experience. When you've been at it as long as me, you don't even need eyes or taste buds to cook. And of course, there is a secret ingredient. Which I obviously won't tell you."
Kara: "Everyone has a secret ingredient."
Luis: "Want to try your pies?"
Kara: "Only if you do so first."
Luis: "As long as it's not a meat pie."
Kara: "It's an apple pie. What kind of meat will there be?"
Kara: "What do you have against meat pies anyway?"
Maru: "On your marks...get set..."
Maru: "Go!"
Luis: "Yuck! Something doesn't taste quite right."
Kara: "Are you dissing my pie?"
Trenton: "This is fun! Mmff!"
Miriam: "I can't breathe!"
Kara: "Nom nom nom...I'm going to nibble every tibble until all you're left with is a skeleton."
Miriam: "Do I look okay?"
Kara: "Oh my gosh! I won!"
Kara: "At the bottom of the pie tin says a hidden exemption to the winner of the pie eating contest! Eeeeeee!"
Trenton: "What?"
Luis: "There's no point trying any more then."
Luis: "Ugh...is she sure it's fully vegetarian?"

Miriam: "Angelica trusted me to continue her journey and most importantly have fun! My tactic is to cast a wide net. It's better not to let the Mole slip by."

"Contestants, welcome back. I hope you had fun because tonight, the fun stops for one of you. Kearney and Kara both have a hidden exemption, and it may or may not have saved them because today we have another 3-way tie. This means the red candle will go to the slowest of the three if not exempt. Unless, of course, someone quits, in which case we will still execute you first."
"Miriam Day, your predecessors have survived their first night, but will you?"
Darleen: "When Francisca and I returned to the tub, we saw lots of apples lying on the floor. It's either Miriam or Virginia who wasted those apples."
Miriam: "Green like the grass and the aurorae. That means I'm safe."
"Francisca Vanderburg."
Francisca: "It is worrying to hear about a tie. It could have been all down to speed for me."
Kara: "Francisca didn't contribute much to the apples bobbed. She gave the fewest apples next to Virginia, but Virginia was never going to contribute the most apples anyway."
Francisca: "That's a relief. I don't want to go home."
"Lewis-Charlie Darwin."
Lewis-Charlie: "Had I known there was a hidden exemption in the pies I would have entered that contest."
Miriam: "It's very clear things went the most wrong with the three men."
Lewis-Charlie: "Darn it!"
"Lewis-Charlie, unfortunately you are the next to be executed. Please pack your bags and leave."
Trenton: "Lewis was a buddy for life. He gave me that exemption in the first mission and we worked tightly as a ship from then on. His head was very focused on the game and the twist. He will be sorely missed."

*
Trenton: "We can work together as a coalition. You give me an out today, I'll repay the favour tomorrow."
*
*
*
Lewis-Charlie: "It sucks but it's all about the survival of the fittest. I had a whole strategy in place but my shadow will know what to do. I have faith."

*
Darleen: "He was very brave for teaching a class of teenagers when he didn't even know what he would be teaching."

*
Lewis-Charlie: "I relaxed for a little bit at the festival when I should have been on the hunt for any advantages I could find. I'm disappointed about that and the fact that we never got to do anything in the water for a mission, but I'm content to have been able to work with animals."
*

*
Luis: "There can only be one Luis, heh heh. But I just say that man had a lot of patience and care for those sheep. He took one for the team. Out of the 7kg of wool, I bet 6 of it was thanks to his hard work."
