60.09-Whirlpool of doom

 

The last time on the Smole, the contestants had to prepare for a spring harvest festival, earning 80/150 points in the process. The pot finally sees points: 67/300 points to be exact. Kearney and Kara found hidden exemptions while Maru claimed the first bingo of the season. Lewis-Charlie left the game next. Will his shadow do better? Who is his shadow? Who is the Mole?

Kara: "BOOO! This is getting lame. We are in Episode 9 and we're still at 10 contestants. Out with a shadow! Out with a shadow!"

Francisca: "It feels as if Virginia has been patronising me recently. I get the vibe that she doesn't want to talk to me. I'm not sure why."

The contestants find themselves in a random location for the next mission. They have to enter the teleporting dive wells to reach new places, some containing points. However, to cash in those points, they have to make it to the middle within 2 hours. Up to 100 points are up for grabs in this mission.

Virginia: "It looks clean at the least."

Francisca: "Only one way to go."

Kara: "Cowabunga!"

Luis: "I better not hurt myself."

Maru: "Graceful dive in."

Francisca: "A chest!"

Francisca: "15 points."

Kara: "Ooh, more wells."

Maru: "Nothing here."

Kearney: "I must search for all the points!"

Kara: "Hi Maru! What's on the other side?...Fine, be that way."

Trenton: "Such interesting technology of the past. I am constantly blown away by how advanced the past used to be."

Virginia: "I am not a diver."

Kearney: "That looks like the endpoint but I have nothing to show for it yet. I must continue on my quest."

Darleen: "Phew. This is so tiring."

Maru: "So far nothing yet."

Kara: "Hey, there's a chest here."

Maru: "An opening."

Maru: "Who are you?"

Lewis-Charlie's shadow is Preethi Darwin, a 44-year-old patrol officer from Barnacle Bay. She is given the task of knitting out the paths that will lead to her, making it easier for the rest to find their way back. However, once a contestant opens the chest beside her, they can no longer go back into the maze.

Maru: "Are you done yet?"

Preethi: "Nowhere close, I'm afraid."

Maru: "Then I'll just chill here."

Trenton: "15 points."

Darleen: "I need to take a rest."

Kearney: "Another exit. I must head back."

Miriam: "I'm so disoriented. Have I been in there already?"

Kara: "Yipee! 10 points."

Trenton: "Woosh!"

Trenton: "I feel so dizzy."

Kara: "Aha! I made it!"

Kara: "Time to deposit the winnings."

Francisca: "I can't find my way out."

Trenton: "Oh hi Kearney."

Kearney: "Have you found points?"

Trenton: "I have. 15 points."

Kearney: "Good. I found the exit. Use that tunnel there before it's too late. I'll meet you once I explore this well."

Luis: "I can't do this any more. I'm sure the rest can handle it."

Kearney: "5 points."

Miriam: "5 points at last."

Kara: "What's taking you so long?"

Preethi: "I'm old and it's dim. I can't see clearly."

Miriam: "This is really fun!"

Francisca: "I think I've seen this wall a dozen times. I'm officially lost."

Trenton: "I thought you were going to abandon me."

Kearney: "I keep my word. Now follow me."

Kearney: "Keep up. I don't know how much time we have left."

Trenton: "I'm out of breath. Hey wait for me!"

Kearney: "It appears I have made a wrong turn. But here is a bingo square: to finish 5th in a mission. That is not me."

Trenton: "This is a dead end."

Kearney: "I made a wrong turn somewhere. This chest has already been looted. Let's go back. It must have been that other well."

Trenton: "I'm beginning to lose faith in you."

Kearney: "I will get us out. Trust me."

Miriam: "Yes! I made it out!"

Miriam: "Time to deposit those 5 points."

Maru: "I'm going back in."

Kara: "Are you sure you don't want to wait for Preethi?"

Maru: "Nah."

Darleen: "We have to try, Luis. There could be other points waiting for us that have not been found."

Luis: "I've been in here forever. I've given up hope."

Virginia: "Empty."

Virginia: "I forfeit."

Kearney: "I did not expect to see another journeyman. Are you lost?"

Luis: "Very."

Kearney: "I shall lead us out of this whirlpool of doom."

Francisca: "It's empty."

Francisca: "Maru, hey. It's the first time I saw another Sim in a while."

Maru: "There you are."

Francisca: "Were you looking for me?"

Maru: "I know you're the Mole."

Francisca: "Me? It can't be me. I just got my bingo square stamped to have 3 suspects in a row."

Maru: "I don't believe you."

Francisca: "I'll show you after the mission."

Francisca: "Why are you so sure it's me?"

Maru: "I chose you at random and I haven't been wrong yet."

Francisca: "Uh..."

Francisca: "You know what? Maybe I am the Mole."

 Francisca: "Now if you excuse me I need to escape."

Maru: "Don't let me get in your way of sabotage. I have more money to find."

Francisca: "Finally."

Miriam: "Why have you stopped?"

Preethi: "We have less than 20 minutes. There's no point any more."

Luis: "That chest was empty."

Kearney: "We must be on the right path."

Trenton: "I hope so."

Kearney: "Yes! I told you we were on the right path."

Kearney: "ONWARD!"

Kara: "Hurry up!"

Miriam: "You're almost there!"

Trenton: "Coming through!"

Preethi: "How much do we have?"

Trenton: "5,5...75 points. And a bingo card."

Kearney: "That's mine."

Trenton: "You didn't tell me you had one."

Darleen: "Where am I?"

"Time is up."

75/100 points have been added to the pot. The pot is now at 142/400 points. With no exemption, anyone could be executed next. But who?
