Previously on the Smole, the contestants took turns kicking soccer balls into goals in the hopes of blocking wrong answers. They blocked 8 wrong answers successfully from entering the goal, so 80/100 points were earned to make it 173/270 points. Hugh was the fourth victim and fourth male victim in a row to be executed. Is the Mole a woman this season?

Caitlin: "I was a little bit sad when I realised Hugh didn't make it. He was a really funny guy and lightened up the house."

Caitlin: "I can't believe it's another physical mission."

Marshall: "Do you wash your clothes?"

Avery: "Why? That's wasting water. They still gotta few more good uses in 'em."

Brazil is one of the largest coffee producers in the world, accounting for approximately 30% of the world's coffee supply. Today the contestants will get a chance to be coffee farmers. They will harvest coffee beans in pairs. They have to return to Hotel Fazenda Pomar Branco in time to deposit the beans, otherwise their harvested beans will be forfeited.

Marshall: "We needed to pair up. Each bush we harvested from would add an obstacle to us. If we were tripped up by any of the obstacles, we would be eliminated from the mission and lose the beans we harvested. I could not put Carolina through any danger willingly, so she can protest all she wants but she's with me."

Marshall and Carolina start first. They have 5 minutes.

Marshall: "Take the top row. I'll start from the bottom."

Marshall: "I must be careful not to break any beans. And done. Those are all the coffee beans."

Marshall: "What interesting grapes. I have never seen bright red grapes."

Marshall has quickly finished harvesting from one bush. There is now one sprinkler added. If any contestant gets hit by a water sprinkler, the mission ends for them.

Carolina: "I shall not touch the other plants."

Marshall: "Ow! I got pricked."

Carolina: "On to the next plant."

Carolina: "Eek!"

"Carolina is eliminated."

Marshall: "No!"

Marshall: "I have harvested enough beans. I shall not be greedy."

Marshall: "I have to observe the pattern in the timing of the sprinklers."

Marshall: "It is stopping."

Marshall: "Now is my time to run back up."

Marshall: "I have arrived in time."

Seraphine and Caitlin are the next pair. They have 7 minutes.

Caitlin: "I'll start with these ones."

Seraphine: "Okay."

Seraphine: "We need to wait for the sprinkler to turn off."

Caitlin: "This is wasting so much time."

Caitlin: "Are you following me? Why are you following me?"

Seraphine: "I am not. I am waiting for the sprinkler too."

Caitlin: "It's off now. Go on."

Caitlin: "Highly sus."

Seraphine: "It is so hot."

Seraphine has harvested a bush and has introduced garden gnomes. If they trip over any of the gnomes, they will be eliminated from the mission.

Caitlin: "Why are you stuck so tight?"

Seraphine: "How are you still on the first bush?"

Caitlin: "It won't come out! I don't want to break the beans."

Seraphine: "I'll harvest this bush with you."

Caitlin: "That's not efficient use of labour."

Caitlin: "Aah!"

"Caitlin and Seraphine have been eliminated."

Cecelia and Mandy are the third pair. They have 10 minutes.

Cecelia: "We need to wait for the sprinklers to turn off."

Mandy: "While we wait, let's strategise. We can see that the bushes closest to us have been harvested."

Cecelia: "Except the one near the sprinkler. But I see your point. I will head down to the lowest level and harvest those beans."

Mandy: "I'll go with you. I doubt many of the others went down."

Cecelia: "I think it's wiser if we spread the risk and you finish off the top layers."

Mandy: "That's fair."

Cecelia: "The sprinkler has turned off. I'm going."

Mandy: "I need to find a way to get across."

Mandy: "Woah! That was a close one. It looks like I have to wait. The slope is too steep to cut across."

Cecelia: "I don't see any coffee bean bushes. But there is this pomelo tree."

Cecelia: "I should take one."

Cecelia: "I had a strange feeling with the pomelos. It was green like an exemption, round like an exemption, so is it an exemption? I couldn't see any downsides to just harvesting it so I went ahead and plucked one from the tree."

Mandy: "I better be quick."

Mandy: "Oops, I dropped one."

Mandy has harvested from a coffee bean bush and activated the spirit guardian of the plantation: a teleporting bear. If they touch or knock over the bear, they will be eliminated.

Mandy: "I think I'm safe from the sprinkler. I just need to maintain a good footing."

Cecelia: "That's one coffee bean bush. Aah! The sprinkler!"

Cecelia: "I better get away."

Another bush has been harvested. At 10 bushes, Kaleo the part-time groundskeeper has been summoned. He will maintain a walking pace at first. If he catches any of the contestants, the contestants will be eliminated.

Mandy: "Who's that? Oh no, the groundskeeper!"

Mandy: "I need to get away!"

Kaleo: "I'll get her later."

Kaleo: "There's an easier unsuspecting target."

Mandy: "I think I got far away. Where is he? Oh no, he's going after Cecelia."

Mandy: "Cecelia! Be careful!"

Kaleo: "Hm? Oh you're back."

Mandy: "Damn it."

Mandy: "I need to leave now."

Mandy: "I made it."

Mandy: "I think we lacked communication in the mission. If there was better communication we could have saved effort. We couldn't communicate inter-pair, but within each pair, we could have warned each other about obstacles and our progress, for example."

Cecelia: "My hands are not meant for gardening. But they are surprisingly deft at harvesting beans."

Cecelia: "No. Stay away from me."

Cecelia: "I said stay away."

Cecelia: "I have too many beans to get caught."

Cecelia: "No! I'm trapped."

Cecelia: "Please let me off. I have lots of beans. You can take 5 if you want."

Cecelia: "Don't you dare come closer, young man."

Cecelia: "Ugh, no go away!"

"Cecelia is eliminated."

Beverly and Avery are the last pair. They have 15 minutes.

Avery: "This was my mission. I grew up on a farm. I was made to harvest crops for my maw and paw as a young lad."

Beverly: "Why are there still so many coffee beans left unharvested?"

Avery: "Did I make another gnome appear?"

Avery: "This is so easy."

Beverly: "I am so glad I decided against doing my nails today."

With 15 harvested bushes, Kaleo has been re-summoned and this time, he is allowed to run to catch the contestants.

Beverly: "Oh go away."

Beverly; "Why is he after me? Go away!"

Avery: "Huh? Who's that? Why is he chasing after Bev?"

Beverly: "I shouldn't have worn red today...no, no negative thoughts. Red is my colour. I am not compromising on fashion."

Kaleo: "Did you think you can hide behind those trees?"

Kaleo: "You're not getting away from me."

Beverly: "We'll see about that."

Beverly: "I wish I could do more but Avery's on his own now."

Avery: "This is boring."

Avery: "Aw shit. Should I run? Maybe I can run past him."

Avery: "Shit!"

"Avery has been eliminated."

Avery: "Oops."

"Contestants, to make a full pot of coffee, you need at least 30 coffee beans. Mandy has 9, Beverly has 12 and Marshall has 15, totalling to 36 beans. However, the beans are of varying quality. You must now grind all the coffee beans and make a pot of excellent quality coffee or better to earn 80 points, all or nothing. Hopefully the good beans you have will dilute the bad beans."

Mandy: "I'll do the honours."

Mandy: "Done."

Marshall: "Let us pray that it's worth it."

Beverly: "It better be."

"Kaleo will now sample your coffee. If he thinks it passes the quality check, you earn 100 points."

Kaleo: "My lips are too fat."

Kaleo: "But it passes."

"Congratulations. You have earned the full 80 points."

"In addition, Cecelia found a hidden exemption. Unfortunately, she was eliminated and thus cannot keep it, so everyone is vulnerable in the next execution ceremony."
