62.12-Those are called vegetables

In the previous episode, a misunderstanding with local law enforcement sent Cecelia, Mandy, Caitlin, Searphine and Marshall to jail. Carolina and Avery had to help smuggle books for them to read and later write reviews about to remove their sentence. They wrote 12/15 reviews correctly and earned 120/150 points. The pot is at 373/500 points. After a long night in prison, the contestants are ready to snooze, but there is no rest for the weary. Who will be executed next? Who is the Mole?

●◆●◆●◆●

Carolina: "In the end, I was the only one left in the prison because Avery was not caught and the rest were freed by writing good reviews. It was a weird experience and I never want to experience that again."

●◆●◆●◆●

Mandy: "Thank God for coffee."

Avery: "Mandy! Mandy! You do crisises right?"
Mandy: "I handle crisis, yeah. Why?"
Avery: "There's a crisis. This house is even smaller than the previous one! AND THERE'S BARELY ANY MEAT! I see so much fake food in the fridge but no real food."
Mandy: "Those are called vegetables."

Avery: "You gotta do something about it."
Mandy: "There's nothing I can do."
Avery: "But you're the crisis manager!"
Mandy: "This isn't a real crisis."
Avery: "Whaddya mean it ain't a real crisis? Food is important!"
Mandy: "I really don't have the energy for this, Avery. We pulled an all-nighter last night."

Avery: "You ain't walkin' away just like that! You selfish bitch!"

Mandy: "I can only help you if you want to help yourself. Maybe if you stopped complaining and insulting those you're seeking help from, you'll be able to solve the problem."

Avery: "See? You do know how to fix this."
Mandy: "I know that I'm not the right Sim to be looking for."
Avery: "So who do I look for?"

Mandy: "There are a few ways to solve this problem: by approaching someone with the authority to make changes, by being creative with your current resources, or by fixing your attitude towards vegetables. Personally, I'd add a fourth: start by fixing your attitude in general."
Avery: "Huh?"

Mandy: "...Look for the producer, Avery."
Avery: "Which one?"
Mandy: "Any one."

Cecelia: "Ah, this is so refreshing."
Caitlin: "The pool's not as nice as the one we had before but it'll do."

Caitlin: "Why do you look so tired?"
Cecelia: "We spent an entire night in prison, Caitlin. The real question is: why aren't you?"
Caitlin: "I took a nap."
Cecelia: "How? The bed was so uncomfortable and I don't know when the sheets were last washed."
Caitlin: "I was so tired that I passed out."

Caitlin: "How about you try the waterfall? It feels like taking a nice shower. It's sure to refresh you even more."
Cecelia: "No thanks."

Cecelia: "How are you feeling now that Beverly's gone?"
Caitlin: "Really worried. We had so much to talk about during the season, especially on fashion. We worked together too so her execution scared me. What if I'm not on the right track?"
Cecelia: "Who are you suspecting?"

Caitlin: "I'm not telling you that easily."

Cecelia: "How about we give a trade? I know Beverly and you were trying to figure out the traits of the Mole."
Caitlin: "Were we that obvious?"
Cecelia: "Yes. You were very obvious."

Caitlin: "Alright. You tell me what you answered for the 3 traits a Mole should have first."
Cecelia: "You drive a hard bargain."
Caitlin: "Do you want valuable information or not?"

Cecelia: "Fine. I said the Mole needed to be calm...unpredictable...and inconspicuous."

Caitlin: "You were thinking really hard."
Cecelia: "It's been a while. I gave you the traits. Now you should hold up your end of the deal."
Caitlin: "We suspected Seraphine."
Cecelia: "Interesting."

Caitlin: "Does this mark the start of a new coalition?"
Cecelia: "No. But I'll think about it."
Caitlin: "I look forward to hearing from you soon. I think we could help each other a lot."

●◆●◆●◆●

Caitlin: "Cecelia's traits for the Mole were uncommon but it does seem to fit the profile of the Mole we have this season given the pot history. Inconspicuous...is it Avery or Carolina?"

●◆●◆●◆●

Carolina: "I'm finally here. I'm tired and starving."
Marshall: "You finally decided to come home."

Carolina: "Decided? I didn't decide anything. You think I chose to stay in jail?"
Marshall: "Whether you chose to or not, you were the only one locked up at the end."

Carolina: "I worked my butt off the whole night getting books to all of you and I don't even get a thank you. Instead I get reprimanded?"
Marshall: "You think you deserve a thank you? You handled it badly. There were 3 lockdowns and some of us were given too many books to read while others barely any at all."

Marshall: "Even Avery escaped."
Carolina: "He got caught first."
Marshall: "But you're the one who stayed in jail. You are a disgrace!"

Carolina: "You think it's disgraceful to have me as a daughter? Then it's a good thing that you're not my real father!"

Marshall: "CAROLINA SOUTH! YOU GET BACK HERE!"

●◆●◆●◆●

Carolina: "I can't believe him!"
Seraphine: "What's made you so angry? Come, have a chat."

Carolina: "It's my father. Instead of appreciating what I did he scolded me for being a failure."

Seraphine: "I understand. It must be disappointing to hear that from your own father. He didn't show you concern."
Carolina: "Exactly! He didn't care that I was hungry or if I slept well."

Seraphine: "It's almost as if there's an invisible barrier between the two of you. Maybe he doesn't understand how a teenage girl feels. Or maybe it's not that at all."

Carolina: "Are you claiming it's because he doesn't see me as his own flesh and blood?"

Seraphine: "Have you seen a parent be so unfeeling towards their own biological children?"
Carolina: "It can't be."
Seraphine: "Just look around to your peers in school and how much their parents show their care."
Carolina: "He's just Asian."
Seraphine: "That's not an excuse. Just search your heart."

Carolina: "Why would he even adopt me then?"
Seraphine: "That's a good question. Why would he adopt you and not someone who looks more like him?"

Carolina: "Maybe it's because my mother is white and blonde."
Seraphine: "You know your father best. Does he look like the type of man to give in to his wife and let the child look like her and nothing like him? The scandal would be horrible."

Carolina: "You're saying that he regrets adopting me?"
Seraphine: "Or there's a reason why he chose you in particular."

Carolina: "You're saying...no. That can't be. If he knew my parents, why wouldn't he tell me?"

Seraphine: "Perhaps it was something unspeakable. He took you in to make up for the guilt."
Carolina: "But he said...was he lying? He would always get upset and evasive if I asked about his past."

Carolina: "That can't be...what are you doing?"
Seraphine: "Yes. That look. That's exactly what I'm looking for."
Carolina: "Why are you painting me?"
Seraphine: "There are other questions you should be asking."

"Caitlin Knox."

Caitlin: "Oh my goodness! Sorry, I thought it was going to be red."

"Mandy Bindley."

Mandy: "It's very bright."

"Avery Simpson."
Avery: "Lord help me."

Avery: "Lord helped me."

"Cecelia Zazie."

Cecelia: "As it should be."

"Unfortunately, Carolina South, you have been executed. Please pack your bags and leave."

The youngest contestant has been executed! She wasn't a top suspect and smart Carolina was outsmarted by the Mole. But how many are on the right track of the Mole?

●◆●◆●◆●

Mole: "I did what I thought was the best but I miscalculated."
"A smart Mole knows to analyse and observe the situation."
Mole: "I'm determined to bring the pot down."
"Don't give yourself too much pressure. A Mole knows how to be patient and strike while the time is right; in the meantime, be playful and jovial and enjoy the process. Celebrate the team's successes; don't be the one upset when the pot grows."
