39.19-The stage is all yours

The last time on the Smole, the final four had to complete various tasks to earn points before Clifford reached them. 80/200 points were earned, bringing the pot to 516/1300 points. Contestants were given one last chance to take control of their fate in the execution but Reynard did not make good use of it and thus became this Mole's final victim. With only three remaining, the season will soon come to a close. Questions will be answered, such as who the winner will be and who the Mole has been all along.

Who is the Mole?

"Good morning finalists. Congratulations on making it to the finale once again. The pot has 516/1300 points currently but all that can change. For your final mission, I need one contestant with good ears."

Clifford: "Women tend to have better hearing."
Brittany: "That's not necessarily true. I'm already so old. There's no way my hearing will be better than the two of you."
Clifford: "My hearing's also been impacted during work. It's not as good as it used to be."
Jerome: "That means I'm the only option left, isn't it? Okay then."

The final mission is worth 200 points. Jerome will have to listen to 10 radio stations. However, each one of them is in a different language. Clifford and Brittany will help him by completing various tasks. When they complete a task, they get two minutes to access dictionaries. If Jerome hears any words that match, he can turn off the corresponding radio. At the end of 30 minutes, only the correct radio station should be playing to earn points.

Radio: "Pizza pizza ogni giorno."

Clifford: "Let's begin with our first task."

One of the tasks is to try and get someone to play music with them.

Brittany: "Do you know how to play an instrument?"
Clifford: "The guitar, a bit. But we just need to play together and maybe someone will be interested enough to join."

Brittany: "Not bad."

Brittany: "The drums should be the easiest to play."

Brittany: "Here goes nothing."

Jerome: "My ears are going deaf."

Clifford: "Nobody's coming."
Brittany: "There's hardly a crowd. And that's not surprising, considering it's a weekday morning."

Clifford: "Give up?"
Brittany: "Of course. I don't know why you even chose this to begin with."

Brittany and Clifford can try to get a total cumulative score of 20,000.

Clifford: "This shouldn't be too hard I hope."

Clifford: "I take back my words."

Brittany: "Shh. You're making me lose concentration."

Jerome: "Let me listen closely to what these radios are saying."
Radio: "Российские политики поздравляют Соединенные Штаты с новоизбранным президентом."
Radio: "Mooli on käynyt lähetystyössä."

Clifford: "11,000."

Brittany: "I have one more try."

Brittany: "14,000 points."

Clifford: "Hurry. Let's get the dictionaries."

Clifford: "There are like 50 dictionaries here. I'll just take a random one."

Clifford: "I see Jerome down there."

Clifford: "'Wiadomość'!"
Brittany: "Jerome, look out for the word 'mani'. It's 'where' in Malay. It should be a fairly common word."

Clifford: "When we got the dictionaries we just kept throwing words to Jerome. He must've been very confused and annoyed with all the noise."

Radio: "To jest poranna wiadomość."
Jerome: "I think I heard Cliff saying that word. I'll turn this one off."

"2 minutes are up. Please close the dictionaries and head back."

Radio: "Dừng gian lận."
Radio: "Lei è quella che stai cercando."
Radio: "Lona ingoma engiyithandayo."
Radio: "Nogle kulturer accepterer mere profaniteter."

To gain access to the dictionaries again, Brittany and Clifford can try to convince the mixologist that he has used expired ingredients in his drinks.

Brittany: "Who supplies the lemons to you?"
Khalid: "The suppliers."
Clifford: "Ah, so you don't control what you use to make your drinks?"

Khalid: "No, but I can tell when my concoctions are fresh."
Clifford: "It could be you just getting too used to it. New customers like us can tell."

Clifford: "I'm a lemon retailer. Trust me, I would know."
Khalid: "Hmm..."

Brittany: "It is true. He sells the best lemons and has helped the lemon market tremendously by getting rid of unethical sellers who try to sell inedible lemons."

Khalid: "You know, maybe I do need to speak to the management about this."
Clifford: "Success!"

Khalid: "Why are they so happy?"

Jerome: "I'm getting a big headache. Can they hurry up?"

Brittany: "'Musique' means 'music'. This should be commonly heard on the radios. Jerome, 'musique'!"
Clifford: "'Музыка'!"

Jerome: "What? I can't hear you guys!"
Clifford: "MU-ZEE-KAH!"
Jerome: "Eek! Why is there someone singing opera on the radio? It's so screechy."

Jerome: "I think I heard the word muzeekah coming from this radio. Time to turn this one off."

Radio: "누군가가 국가의 비밀을 누설했다."
Radio: "有关当局表明,内鬼年龄大于三十岁。请听众多留意。"

Brittany and Clifford can try to sing a song and when the music stops, they must sing the next line correctly.

Brittany: "What song do you want?"
Clifford: "How about Baba O'Riley?"
Brittany: "I have no preference. I know nothing about song lyrics."

Brittany: "Out here in the fields/I fight for my meals/I get my back into my living~"

Clifford: "I don't need to fight/To prove I'm right/I don't need to be forgiven~"

Brittany: "Don't cry/Don't raise your eye...uh-oh. The music stopped. Cliff, the stage is all yours."
Clifford: "Don't cry/Don't raise your eye/It's only teenage wasteland~"
"Correct."

Radio: "Usebenzise isofthiwe yokuhumusha."
Radio: "Tôi không ngốc. Dừng lại ngay."
Radio: "So che oggi abbiamo ascoltatori internazionali. Diamo loro un caloroso benvenuto."

Clifford: "'Mao' is cat. 'Mao' as in Mao Zedong. Or try 'Mahn'!"
Brittany: "'Hän' means 'he' in Finnish."

Jerome: "I turned off the Finnish one. I think I heard 'mahn' coming from this."

Brittany and Clifford each get one try to land a ball into a cup in order for both to access the dictionaries.

Brittany: "I've got the feel. Now it's time for the actual task."

Brittany: "I missed."

Clifford: "My turn. I think I can win it for us."

Brittany: "I'll be watching."

Clifford: "Er...do I get a retry."
Brittany: "Thanks Cliff. You helped us a whole lot by nudging the ball."

Radio: "Ons het vandag 'n spesiale gas."
Radio: "Den sang plejede at være min kæreste favorit sang."

Brittany and Clifford can count the number of fish in the aquarium. They get three tries to give the correct number.

Clifford: "21...22..."
Brittany: "We should try to count silently. Otherwise we will end up confusing each other."

Clifford: "I think there are 57 fish."
"Incorrect."

Jerome: "It's like they're trying to count the number of fish. I should try to count too...if I could concentrate amidst all this noise."

Clifford: "I think I double-counted. What's your answer, Brittany?"
Brittany: "54."

Clifford: "I counted 54 as well."
Brittany: "Our answer is 54."
"Correct."

Brittany: "Jerome, do you hear 'la'? That is Spanish."
Clifford: "You should give him something he wouldn't know. It appears that 'happy' is the same in Simlish and Japanese. Jerome, happy!"

Jerome: "Huh? But that's English...oh, I think I hear some Spanish coming from this radio."

Clifford and Brittany can try and drink the bartender's signature drinks. If both succeed, they can re-look at the dictionaries.

Clifford: "This is one of his signatures. It's so strong. I suddenly get the desire to move."

Clifford: "Hey there, may I have this dance?"
Susan: "Oh. Okay."
Clifford: "Great. Let me finish this first."

Clifford: "Woo!"

Susan: "You've got moves."

Brittany: "Here goes nothing."

Brittany: "That wasn't so bad."

Brittany: "I take back my words. My tongue is on fire!"

Clifford: "At least you don't reject me. I don't know why they treat me like a plague. I just get off on children. It's not like I had sex with a minor or anything."
Susan: "What?"

Susan: "Sorry. I suddenly remembered I had something important. Goodbye."

Clifford: "Sigh. I should just focus on the mission. Brittany, you can do it! Just one more sip. You did it! Let's go!"

Jerome: "I think I hear Korean. Guys, do you have a Korean dictionary with you?"

Brittany: "As a matter of fact, we do."
Clifford: "We also have Afrikaans. Look out for 'olifant'! Or 'vandag'!"

Jerome: "I heard that just now somewhere."

Jerome: "Yes, this was the one. I recognise the voice."

Clifford and Brittany's last task is to try and hit a bullseye in 6 tries.

Brittany: "Missed."

Clifford: "Let me try."
Brittany: "I think it's better if we just each take 3 darts and throw continuously."

Brittany: "My eyesight isn't that good."

Brittany: "The music is also very distracting."

Brittany: "Cliff, it's all up to you."

Clifford: "This is a lot of pressure. I think I'll just throw."
Brittany: "What the hell are you doing?"

Clifford: "You'll never know. It could be a lucky shot. Sometimes we hope for too much that we wind up disappointed."

Clifford: "That was really close."

Clifford: "I think we can make it."
Brittany: "That was a terrible idea, no matter how close you were to the centre."

Clifford: "My last dart...yes!"

Clifford: "I did it!"
Brittany: "Then let's get the dictionaries."

Clifford: "If only Jerome could recognise the languages being spoken. Then we can choose which dictionaries to take out."

Brittany: "I decided to take the French dictionary again. It's such a common language. He must have not heard me or recognised French at first."

Brittany: "'Fromage'?"
Clifford: "Hallo!"

Jerome: "No and no."

Brittany: "Do you hear 'radiodiffuser'?"
Clifford: "'Rundfunk'!"
Brittany: "Shh! He can't hear me with you shouting over me."

Jerome: "No. I don't hear any of those words."
Clifford: "Maybe you turned them off already."

"2 minutes are up. Please close the dictionaries."
Brittany: "It's all up to him now."

Jerome: "Just great. I have a one in three chance. I think I'll turn this one off."

Jerome: "Just one more. Which one is the correct one?"
"One minute left."

Jerome: "Shit! I'll just turn this one off. I hope I'm right."

"Jerome, you have chosen the Zulu station."
Jerome: "Oh, that's the language."

"Is it correct? Let us wait for the other two to join you."

Radio: "Ngizokhuluma ulimi oluhlukile lwezivakashi zethu zangaphandle manje. For the finalists on the Smole, if you are still listening after half an hour, congratulations. You have earned 200 points."
Jerome: "We did it!"
Clifford: "Unbelievable. But it's such a relief that we actually earn something."

Clifford: "The mission was actually quite fun. I noticed some suspicious activity that further confirms that I have been right all along. I'm happy to have made it to the finale and you can bet that I will give my all for the final quiz."

The pot now has 716/1500 points thanks to the spectacular win. Who will be walking away with the pot? Who is the Mole? Find out shortly.
