40.16-End the game

Last episode, the final five replayed Season 26's second mission with some tweaks. Shirley was the only one who could form the correct sentence, leading to only 30 out of a possible 150 points being earned. The pot now has 470/890 points. Who will be executed next?

Carol: "Ever since Jerome left, I've been trying to focus on myself and my well-being. I made a lot of friends here so it saddens me that I see them leave one by one, especially Autumn. I hope the culprit is found and eliminated quickly. But the execution that saddens me the most is Jerome's. I can't imagine how he survived after I was executed last season. I keep thinking about him, like how he would enjoy this mission or what if Jerome was the one who was stabbed instead of Autumn. I would be even more devastated. I realise that I may actually fancy Jerome."

Carol: "Every time I see that mermaid I'm reminded of Autumn. I don't understand why Damien would do such a thing."
Shirley: "Maybe he just wants to get rid of a threat? Or maybe he thought Autumn was the Mole so he wanted to get rid of her to end the game."

Carol: "But why? It just doesn't make sense."
Shirley: "We can't hope to completely understand our own minds, much less someone else's. Right now, the best thing we can do is to pray she makes a full recovery and to continue playing the game. We must show whoever did this that we will not be affected by their antics."

Carol: "You are so wise. I really hope she makes a speedy recovery too. I just can't imagine if it was Jerome. I don't know how I can ever continue playing on knowing that he's hurt.."
Shirley: "He already has been hurt."

Carol: "What do you mean?"
Shirley: "Jerome confided in me one day. He told me that he felt utterly hurt."
Carol: "Who hurt him?"

Shirley: "...You, Carol. You hurt him most deeply. You were so distant and crushed his dreams time and time again. He told me that he was so hurt that he would never dare to love again. I saw him cry so badly..."
Carol: "Oh my gosh, I didn't know! What happened?"
Shirley: "I promised not to tell anyone, but you're the one directly involved in it, and I trust you because you're a friend. Promise not to tell anyone."

Carol: "Of course."
Shirley: "He tried to kill himself. He wanted to jump off the balcony of the third floor."

Carol: "No! That poor, innocent bunny. It's all my fault. I should never have gotten so close to him. I can't believe all this happened and I didn't even know! I'm just sitting here comfortably thinking that the romance is past us."

Shirley: "Don't feel too bad. It's not your fault. You couldn't have known. And Jerome isn't worthy of this affection."

Shirley: "What do you mean? He's absolutely worth it."

Shirley: "I'm saying this because I don't want you to get hurt. Carol, Jerome isn't who you think he is."
Carol: "That's nonsense. I know him. He's as harmless as can get."
Shirley: "That's what he wants you to believe."

Shirley: "His behaviour during the meltdown hinted towards...violent...tendencies. Monstrous, fatal even. I want you to stay safe, Carol. I think you should see him for who he really is before it's too late."

Bonnie: "Did you find anything suspicious when you dumped the trash can over your own head this morning?"
Philo: "Nope. It was clean. The garbage collectors had already come to clear it the day before."

Bonnie: "Darn it. We'll never be able to get it back now, not while we're stuck here. Is there anything you found suspicious?"
Philo: "Not at all."

Bonnie: "If you do remember anything, do tell me ASAP."
Philo: "Wait! Is that all you have to say to me?"

Philo: "Am I that repulsive or uninteresting that you don't want to stop to chat with me for a while more, you...female dog?"
Bonnie: "I'm not into small talk. Bye."

"There are only five left. One of you may have gotten lucky due to Autumn's sudden exit, but can you get lucky another time? It is worth noting that the Mole only has thr ability to affect the scores of two contestants now by giving them a -1 or +1 to their quiz. This shall be the last time the Mole will be able to influence the scores like that. Let us hope that you didn't alert the Mole that you know who he or she is."

"Damien Stewart, we shall begin the execution ceremony with you."

Damien: "Hm?"
"Damien Stewart, you have been forcefully eliminated from the game. We have found evidence that you stabbed Autumn Fall. You may have attempted to erase footage, but our skilled team was able to recover it, and it shows all too clearly that you were the one to stab her. We do not tolerate this on the Smole, so as such you have to leave the game immediately."

Philo: "Damien? I knew it! He's always up to no good. He can't be trusted."

Damien: "Whatever. I can leave. I don't care. But I must warn all of you that Shirley DeSota is the mastermind. She ordered me to kill Autumn."
Philo: "Really? That's shocking."

Carol: "Shirley? That can't be true. She's so innocent and kind and gentle. Don't malign her."

Damien: "I'm not spreading rumours. She has all of you fooled. She's an evil woman."

Damien: "Why aren't you guys getting rid of her too?"
"We have no solid evidence to prove that You were forced to stab Autumn by Shirley."
Damien: "Fuck you. That's bullshit."

Damien: "I've become the scapegoat. All of us have been used by her. Look. She's not saying anything to defend herself. She's admitting to it!"
Shirley: "I don't have anything to say to you. You're a liar. My conscience is clear."
"Damien Stewart, please leave the house immediately, or we will have to get sexurity to escort you out."
Damien: "No need. Let me leave with whatever dignity I have left,"

Bonnie: "Hmm..."

Carol: "He's finally gone."
Shirley: "I don't know why he thought he could get away with sullying my name."

"A police car is waiting for him outside. You can rest assured that justice will be served."
Shirley: "Unfortunately that can't bring Autumn back."

"Damien Stewart is not the Mole. The real Mole is still among you."

Carol: "I promised myself not to hug anyone after Jerome so as not to appear overly affectionate and give others the wrong idea, but you look like you need a hug."

Shirley: "It's a relief that he's finally gone. He has been threatening me since very early on. I was so scared after seeing Autumn that he would try and target me next."
Carol: "There, there."

Carol: "You're a very strong woman, Shirley. I had no idea he was doing that to you. But it's okay to let it all out."
Shirley: "Thank you."

Carol: "You should thank all of them. Nobody believed a word Damien said."

Philo: "I'm glad that he's gone. He has committed an unforgivable sin and must be punished for it."

Damien: "The true villain isn't me; it's DeSota. Be careful of her. But I'm more mad at myself that I allowed myself to be twisted around her finger. I got too complacent and it bit me in the ass. I can't believe I'm saying this, but maybe Ma was right all along."

Damien makes a pathetic exit, allowing others more room to breathe. However, the true culprit for all the lost points is still in the game. Which one of the final four is the Mole?
