64.11-Evil reincarnate

Previously on the Smole, the final four had to paint-by-number in confusing fashion. Fortunately, Pretteh managed to identify the painting correctly so their efforts did not go to waste. With 100 more points to add, the pot is now at 221/320 points. Unfortunately, Terry became ill suddenly and had to leave the game, resulting in a finale comprising Earl, Pretteh and Pereditphe. Will they be able to add one more boost to the pot? Who will get to walk home with the pot? Who is the Mole?

Pretteh: "Manura, I have made you proud. I made it all the way to the finale as one of the oldest in the season. I even managed to plot and execute an evil plan all by myself. I hope that if I were to leave this world one day, you would remember me by these feats."

Earl: "Life is unfair. The good guys all go home early. Instead we have bully Pereditphe Stworthington III Jr and evil reincarnate Pretteh. But I won't stoop to their level. I will win this for all my fallen comrades."

Pereditphe: "Well well well. So this is our final three. I'm not surprised that I made it this far. I did know who the Mole is the whole time. I only hope that the other doesn't, so I can get an easy win and win everything."

The finalists are here at the Build-a-Sim workshop, where they will build a Sim for the final mission. One of them must be the guesser, similar to the previous mission. And similar to the previous mission, if the contestant identifies the Sim correctly, 130 points would be earned, all or nothing. The stakes are high. Will they make good use of it?

Earl: "We did well in the previous mission putting Pretteh last."

Pretteh: "I think it's time for a swap."

Earl: "I think we shouldn't change what's broken."

Pereditphe: "We did well because you let me take over. So this time I should be first."

Earl: "Okay. Then I'll be second."

Pretteh: "No. I'll be second."

Earl: "Just because I listen to others doesn't mean I'm a pushover. I'm not letting you have your way."

Pereditphe: "It's settled then. Let's take our places."

The Sim Pereditphe and Earl will be building today is Jon Arbuckle. Pereditphe has access to the original picture, and is allowed to create his head shape and everything up to and including his neck. Earl will then take over with his body shape and everything else.

Pereditphe: "Which head shape suits him most?"

Pereditphe: "This man has big eyes. Let me see if I can make it bigger."

Pereditphe: "What does this do? Ah. Whatever, looks close enough."

Pereditphe: "He has a very big mouth. Like he is having a stroke."

Pereditphe: "I'm pleased I got the first role because I know exactly what the original is supposed to look like. If this mission fails, I can pinpoint exactly at which stage it failed."

Pereditphe is done with her stage. Earl now gets to complete the Sim.

Earl: "Interesting. I have no idea who you are supposed to be. You have big eyes, a small high nose and a very large low mouth."

Earl: "Most men like blue from what I saw. It's also the one that stands out the most."

Earl: "I need to give him shoes. Which one looks comfortable?"

Earl: "Hmm, maybe this one looks better."

Earl: "I opted for an extremely casual look inspired by the groomers and Sims around me. What is more casual than a polo shirt and straight black trousers? Hmm, maybe I should have gone for a blazer now that I think about it. That's casual too."

"This is the Sim. Here is a hint: comic."

Pretteh: "Comic? Do you mean comedy or comic strip? Hmm let me take a closer look. He has big bluish-gray eyes. A small nose and big mouth. He must be some sort of cartoon character. Cartoon, comic...I can only think of Peanuts, but they're all children. Garfield? Blue shirt brown hair..."

Pretteh: "Are you the guy from Garfield? Jon?"

Jon: "I am Jon Arbuckle."

"That came in clutch. You correctly identified the Sim and earn 130/130 points. The pot is now at 351/450 points. Now the only thing left to do is to prepare for the final quiz."

Pereditphe: "That was impressive. How did you know?"

Pretteh: "The hint was comic and I only know a few comics."

Earl: "You can't make up for your past crimes."

Pretteh: "Yow! Stop shouting!"

Earl: "It's not my fault I'm louder than you. And why should I please a killer?"

Pretteh: "Please, Terry is in hospital, not dead."

Earl: "He could have been in the finale if not for you!"

Pretteh: "If not for me you could not have been standing here."

Pretteh: "Ever thought about how maybe I saved you? If Terry didn't leave, maybe you would have been executed. Then your legacy would be just be a petulant horse."

Earl: "That...that's better than you! Your legacy here is being evil."

Pretteh: "Thank you, that means so much to me."

Pereditphe: "Can you guys fight somewhere else? I would like to maintain my legacy of being a pristine and the only proper animal on this show. Now let me have a cat nap."

Earl: "I'm tired too. It's wild to think how three animals could participate in a show together. It's been an adventure but I'm ready to go home."

Earl: "I suspected a cat for a while now. It's just a matter of which cat. Now is the time to use my training to keep calm. There is the first cat I suspected: Pretteh Dewick. She is clearly evil and capable of being the Mole. I remember how in the first mission she barely tried. There was no way she was that slow even for an old cat. Her attitude strikes me as suspicious, like she was relaxed because she knew she would be in the finale.

I also suspected Pereditphe Stworthington III Jr Mitchell at one point in this season. She is also similarly lazy. That final mission for example; she made it so hard to guess. To be fair, I wouldn't have known who Jon is anyway, but I think he looks nothing like a Jon. But Duke suspected her too the night he left, and that's why I'm certain the Mole can only be Pretteh Dewick."

Pretteh: "Now is the time to be serious. I can't mess up now. My fellow feline Pereditphe Stworthington III Jr Mitchell is the Mole and here is why. She has never added anything to the pot. For example, the scavenger hunt, or the final mission, or the karaoke. I've known it for the longest time. I can only hope my memory doesn't fail me on the details.

As for Earl Rembrandt, he's too upright and neurotic to be the Mole. Sure, he hasn't earned much either, and I think he messed up in the final mission, and ran off way too fast in the first mission knowing I was never going to catch up. Because of him we almost earned nothing if my memory serves me correctly. But I can't waver now."

Pereditphe: "The time has come to pick a suspect and I will pick a suspect that I always thought about. I can name every time Earl Rembrandt earned money: never. In the second mission, he did not even attempt to improve. But the biggest sabotage is when I was with him at the beach. He kept talking over me and confusing Terry and got angry at him for no reason. Poor Terry was trying his best but was confused by Earl and could not hear me.

Then there's Pretteh Dewick. I think she can be a good Mole. Certainly, she's earned points, but most of it is against her own will. She had no control over the first mission, or the final two when we did so well that she had no choice but to give the correct answer. In the third mission, she was assumed to have done well because she was quiet. That was sabotage that backfired. Even in the fourth mission, she was forced to give up a valuable metal because Terry forced it out of her. Otherwise I don't think she would have given it up. Apparently she found newspaper too but said nothing about it. But despite this, it makes more sense to be objective and pick who I know to be the Mole, and that is Earl the horse."
