Pretteh: "I work smart. There was a dog that magically appeared in front of my litterbox. I wanted to kill it but then I realised it was fake and I could take it as an item I found. Turns out I didn't even need Terry's metal. I now look like the hero."

Pereditphe: "You're so conniving."

Pretteh: "Thank you."

Pretteh: "What do you say about getting rid of the last dog?"

Pereditphe: "Terry? How?"

Pretteh: "I managed to steal the exemption away from him. We just need to keep the exemptions away. Or we could poison his food."

Earl: "Hm."

Pereditphe: "It's an equivalent exchange. Nobody is obligated to look after you for free. Stop being so dependent on others. Take me for example. I'm not dependent on my humans."

Earl: "But then you still want to live in their house?"

Pereditphe: "They give me benefits but they don't control me. I do whatever I want. I'm not forced to do their bidding just because I have a collar. If anything, they listen to me."
