24.20-I'm the best

In the last episode, the final 3 had to pass around a football, "Hot Potato" style. Bernard was worth 50 points, Sean 175 and Oliver 250 points. Bernard was eliminated first, followed by Sean, leaving Oliver to bring 250/250 points to the pot, totalling it to 1405/2000 points. Now, all that is left is to take the quiz and hope for the best because the finale is coming up.

Towards the finale, some clean...

Oliver: "Man, I made it to the final, baby! Look at me, all my fans! I'm here, in the final 3! Haha! I'm the best. I'll beat Bernard, if he's not the Mole, just you watch. To my lovely wife, I'll be bringing home the money shortly. But what if Bernard Hunter's the Mole, you ask? Well, it's not improbable. I mean, I bet he's gotten a lot of sabotages already, and he's just plain lucky with exemptions, like he knew how to get them every time. He tried to hard to seem normal but did it backfire? Also he has a dark secret about his hunting days. Who knows what else he may be hiding?

But let's now focus on Sean Blushore. Listen to me. He's too relaxed about the whole thing, like he's confident he'll make it to the end. He's totally unfazed. And he's been staying low for way too long which makes him seem like the Mole. And I noted that he tried to hide many of the guests from us in the party mission, and was focused on having fun more than earning money in general, so it's not like he hasn't sabotaged before. Top spot, here I come!"

Q6: Has the Mole gotten a note from himself?
A: Yes
B: No

Q7: Has the Mole ever earned a correction?
A: Yes
B: No

Q8: Does the Mole wear a shirt to sleep?
A: Yes
B: No

Q9: Does the Mole wear long pants to sleep?
A: Yes
B: No

Q10: Before Mission 10, what did the Mole eat?
A: Autumn Salad
B: Goopy Carbonara

Sean: "What's with all the questions, dude? So creepy and stalkerish. Like why would I care what he wears to sleep? I don't go to the Mole's room every night. Now, who is the Mole? Well, there's always Oliver Dean. He's like, too confident and chill. He tries to act like he cares but I can see through that. I've got eyes, dude. I've been onto you. And he has definitely sabotaged, just probably very secretly. Although there was no reason for him to do well in the last mission for any reason except that Bernard and I suck compared to him.

Speaking of Bernard Hunter, he's smart and lucky. He's like, the most player-looking guy among us three. But that's what makes him suspicious. Because he's the odd one out and could be using a disguise, you know? Like Aquaman or Batman or something. I bet you that he did sabotage too. In fact, the two of them were my top suspicions from the very start, and both of them are in the finale."

Q11: In Mission 10, in which order did the Mole first touch the football?
A: 1st
B: 2nd
C: 3rd

Q12: In Mission 10, in which order was the Mole eliminated?
A: 1st
B: 2nd
C: The Mole was not eliminated

Q13: How many points was the Mole worth in Mission 10?
A: 50
B: 175
C: 250

Q14: After Mission 10, what did the Mole do?
A: Light a bonfire
B: Go windsurfing
C: Nap

Q15: Who is the Mole?
A: Sean Blushore
B: Bernard Hunter
C: Oliver Dean

Bernard: "I'm probably going to overanalyse this, but whatever. First, let's take a look at Sean Blushore. He's the most relaxed contestant, and one of the quiestest. He's always off somewhere alone, and we attribute that to his introversion, but is he really? Nobody really spends a lot of time with him, so we really don't know him that well, and this gives him chance to split up from us and sabotage. Let me give you an example. Where was he when we split up during the mission where we got to know everyone? He tried to hide from us. He tried to hide guests from us, so that there would be no backup if he called out the wrong names. I know what's going on in his mind. And the last mission took place at the beach. It's a hint.

I also know what's going on in Oliver Dean's mind. He's the next most relaxed. He has sabotaged before, like when he guessed the author of the line wrongly, or when he opened a few chests and found nothing at all for that mission. He tries to blend in with the crowd,  which is typical of  a Mole, and makes us less likely to think twice about him, especially when our attention is focused on the quieter ones. Also, a football. Otherwise known as a soccer ball to some. Is that not a hint too?"

"Welcome to the finale of the Smole, Season 24! It's your favourite host again. Without further ado, let us now welcome our ex-contestants in!"

"In last place, Jeremy Lewting!"
Jeremy: "I knew I would lose."

"After him is Dimitri Vlasglow!"
Dimitri: "My greatest pleasure to see all you delectable, sweet players once more. I hope I can get to know all of you better now."

"In 10th place is Randolph Evan!"
Randolph: "I have a theory surrounding my low placing...it has to do with the Mole!"

"Following that is Patrick Shwatz!"

Patrick: "Well, if I can't get the money, I must at least know who the Mole is."

"In 8th place is Herman Sheen!"
Herman: "Hello again everybody!"

"Next are our double executees, Yvonne Aja and Joanna Eughberton!"
Joanna: "I can't believe I failed."
Yvonne: "Don't be distracted. It's our cue to enter."

"In 5th place is Rebecca Liberosa!"
Rebecca: "Good evening to all."

"And last but definitely not least, Olivia Spring!"
Olivia: "Whee! This is so exciting! I can't wait to know who the Mole is! I'm already dying from excitement!"

"All of you were fooled by the Mole and were slow in quiz taking. The final 3 aren't. They are waiting for the reveal."

"Bernard Hunter, Oliver Dean and Sean Blushore. Who will win, who will come in as close second and who is the Mole?"

Patrick: "I just got a call. I have to be back at the shop. I'd love to stay and unmask that Mole, but I really have to go. Bye."

"We shall not let him interrupt us. Now, who will slide down that pole and walk through that door? The winner of the Smole, Season 24, is..."

"The winner is none other than Bernard Hunter!"

Bernard: "I am not sure whether to be shocked or not, because I remember being close to the end and stuck between Sean and Oliver. I even remember doubting myself in the final quiz. So to win the Smole is a big achievement for me, and I hope it sheds a better light onto me."
"Thank you, Bernard. Your winnings will be announced later."

"Sean and Oliver are now waiting to reveal themselves. Who will be the runner-up?"

"Our runner-up is none other than..."

"...Sean Blushore!"
Sean: "What up, dudes and dudettes?"

Sean: "So, I wasn't expecting myself to win anyway. I wasn't even expecting myself to make it to the end. So I'm perfectly happy to lose to my best bud here Bernard. The journey is all that matters, and it's been a great ride, with turbulent waves that are perfect to ride on. I don't regret ever joining. Good job, Bernard."
Bernard: "Thanks. I suppose you were baited by the Mole."
"Thank you, Sean. And indeed, everyone here has been baited by the Mole. Shall we now welcome him in?"

Joanna: "I really don't know what to say."
Olivia: "Yes! It'll be great! Although I must say that I didn't want to suspect him because he really didn't feel like a Mole. I was leaning more to Sean, but that's why I'm seated here instead I guess."
Randolph: "Hmm...I have a theory."
Jeremy: "Well, I never thought about him at all."
Dimitri: "Was he the one who called me a veggie man? I'll show him vegetables when I'm done with him."

"And here he is, coming down."

"Let us now give a round of applause to our Mole this season: Oliver Dean!"

Oliver: "I am so stoked to be here. It was fun but stressful being the Mole, because you get to be put into a detective and criminal situation, just that I'm the criminal and must try to hide and not expose my identity.  I don't know if I did well or not, but I'm glad to have been the Mole, fooling so many of you and even bagging some money for myself. And to clarify, that last mission was an accident. I wasn't told of when 'Hot Potato' would be called though I did knew my points' worth. So I'm quite upset that I sent 250 points into your pockets, Bernard. But at least I've still got something to bring home and flaunt!"
Bernard: ":/"

"Let us witness the sabotages of our dear Mole."

"In Mission 1, Oliver was actually aware that he was going to be arrested. That's right. The whole arrest was staged. He wasn't informed that it was a mission however, thus eliciting some genuine responses from him. However, he caught on, so he tried to escape as soon as possible to create a hole, preventing any more keys from being passed around. He also deliberately let a key be confiscated, denying one contestant the chance to escape.

Oliver: "Boo-yeah! Oops. Too loud."

Sylvester: "OI!"

Oliver: "Sh*t."
Sylvester: "Hand it over, young man."

In Mission 2, Oliver wanted to gain the trust of everyone, thus he decided not to sabotage. Instead, he helped the group a lot by helping Yvonne remember what she needed to do. In retrospect, he probably regretted it.
Oliver: *whispers* "You say that you already have a ring. And then I'll propose and we get fake married."
Yvonne: "Got it. OH, BUT I ALREADY HAVE A RING!"
In Mission 3, Oliver tried to sabotage discreetly, giving a reasonable explanation for his wrong guess. However, he became suspicious because he was one of the few that guessed wrongly, although he was still not highly suspected.

Oliver: "'For love and fame' sounds very materialistic. Joanna, maybe?"
In Mission 4, Oliver's plan was to waste time and open as few chests as possible by taking a random key to each random chest without systematically trying the keys or chests out. He only opened 1 chest, thus giving the subsequent contestants more chests to open, hopefully pushing blame to them when they failed to open everything. He even decided to waste time cleaning bugs off his watch.

Oliver: "They're crawling all over my watch. Great. Now I have to get rid of them first."

Oliver: "That wasted a lot of time. And I still haven't opened a chest yet."

Oliver: "Time to find another key."

Oliver: "I'll try this chest instead. It doesn't work."

Oliver: "Time to get a new key."

Oliver: "I'm starting to panic."

Oliver: "Better double up. I don't want to seem like a loser and burden to everybody."

In Mission 5, he decided to halve the numbers, thus lowering the chances of going through 21 turns, hence losing all points. Suspicion on him rose greatly, however.

Oliver: "Thanks a lot, man. There goes my correction. Better record this down first. Sigh..okay, what's half of that? Oh, 26."

In Mission 6, being a bonus mission, Oliver couldn't do much. The only thing he did was to steal the exemption from Bernard, as he knew what was in each seat.

In Mission 7, Oliver was fully aware of how many points each chair was worth. His strategy was to last as long as possible, letting the others remove the chairs first and hopefully remove the chair worth the full 200 points to lessen suspicion. He would then remove whatever chair was worth the most when he lost. However, as they failed to remove the chair worth 200 points, Oliver was forced to do it himself, which raised some eyebrows slightly.

In Mission 8, he wrote himself a note to try and excuse his behaviour. He tried to get to know a number of guests, planning to get their names wrong. Unfortunately, he did not expect the other contestants to speak to the same guests, so they corrected him and earned more points, which also gave him pressure to actually call out a name correctly so as to reduce suspicion. Sean instead became highly suspicious for hiding many guests and getting names wrong.

Oliver: "Sh*t man. I didn't earn my correction because I said a few names correctly. It's easy to slip up. Plus the peer pressure. Everyone would kill you and suspect you if you screwed up. So it was stressful. But Sean screwed up big time. He was really suspicious. How did I fail to notice him before?"
In Mission 9, he planned to get Sean to suspect him, being not as loud as Bernard but not as quiet as Olivia. However, his backup plan was to act in an exaggerated manner, hopefully getting the others to think that his acting was subpar, hence he would be terrible acting as a regular player if he was the Mole.

In Mission 10, Oliver tried to hold on to the football for a while each time before releasing it to increase his odds of being eliminated as he knew that he was worth the most points."

"Oliver has been suspected 10 times in total, first by Yvonne, then by Sean, followed by Bernard. This season, each time the Mole has been put down, 1 point would be deducted, so 10 points are transferred from Oliver to Bernard. That means that Oliver, you get 585/2000 points, or 585,000 Simoleons! Bernard, you have earned 1415/2000 points, or 1,415,000 Simoleons! Good job!"
Oliver: "Sh*t you."

"Let us now take a look at the clues."

Yes, it's the same picture three times. X)

"All the episode titles are quotes by Oliver within the episode, unlike previous seasons where anybody could be quoted. Why the change? Because Oliver is the Mole.

In Episode 5, Oliver was specifically instructed to write the line 'Pick me as the Mole', to hint that he was the Mole.

In Episode 9, the reason why the number that triggered the bomb was 21 is because is is the product of the digits of Oliver's age (37). 3x7=21. The fact that 21 turns needed to pass was coincidental but could be taken as a clue too.

Also in Episode 9, Oliver had a note to himself where he had to call out the number 73 to earn a correction. 73 is Oliver's age backwards. He gave the note to himself as he feared it was too obvious.

In Episode 11, there was actually a soccer ball in the therapy room (which is out of place for a therapy room, unlike the other objects), hinting to Oliver's profession and passion. Oliver noticed it but deliberately kept quiet so as not to introduce any ideas into other people's heads.

In the top right corner, on the table, 2nd object from the right, is the soccer ball.

In Episode 15, there were 68 guests that were to attend the party, including the one that left before it started and including the host. There were 5 finalists, who were also guests of the party. Altogether, there would be 73 Sims at the party. 73 is Oliver's age reversed.

In Episode 17, contestants had to order Green Curry with Rice and Olives, not because it was the spiciest dish, but because the olives were meant to hint at Oliver being the Mole without being too obvious by including Olivia in this hint too.

Lastly, in Episode 19, the reason why a football was chosen instead of an actual potato was because sometimes a football is referred to as a soccer ball, thus being another nod at Oliver's profession. Bernard picked up on this.

This is the football.

And those are the main clues."

"We have come to the end of this finale ceremony. Thank you all for attending and participating. We hope to see most of you again, if possible."

Herman: "Time to feast!"

Bernard: "So you knew that we would be arrested from the very start?"
Oliver: "Yes. I kind of guessed it was a mission but I wasn't sure what exactly."
Sean: "Heh. Good job to the both of you."

Joanna: "See? I can have fun too."
Olivia: "That's great."

Randolph: "That's my theory."
Dimitri: "Interesting."
Jeremy: "I feel like a loser sitting beside all of you."

Herman: "Guys! Come and eat!"

Yvonne: "Come on, Rebecca. You heard him. Stop reading already. You can do that at home...wait, is that what I think it is?"

Dimitri: "I will stalk each and every one of your houses. I will hunt you down, and I will find you. To have a chat, of course."
Randolph: "Creepy."
Jeremy: "You give me the heebie-jeebies."

Sean: "I love autumn salad. I eat it almost everyday. Or maybe it's the other way round."

Herman: "Why won't anybody sit with me? I'm bored."

Oliver: "It was actually kind of great to know that all of you suspected Bernard and not me."
Yvonne: "We were horribly misled."
Bernard: "I did a great service, huh."

Olivia: "Yay! Let's eat together! It will be a great reunion."
Rebecca: "There's not enough space."

Jeremy: "I'm such a loser. I don't even belong here."

Sean: "Cookies?"
Joanna: "Don't make me choke. I'm on a diet."
Rebecca: "Are you okay?"
Joanna: "Of course. I'm still bitter about choosing the wrong Mole and leaving so early."
Sean: "Dude, you made it to the final 7."

Olivia: "Come on, Herman. Let's dance!"

Oliver: "I know I have a great bod but you all don't need to keep staring at me like that."

***

Sean: "Hey Reb. Mind if I sit?"
Rebecca: "Go ahead."

Sean: "Erm..."
Rebecca: "Uh..."

Sean: "So...I was thinking..."

Sean: "Maybe we can have a trial period or something, you know? Like, go on dates and stuff. See if it works out. I do feel a connection and I don't want to let the opportunity slip. I may not love you now, but maybe in the future?"
Rebecca: "Oh, how sweet."

Oliver: "Dancing is a great cardio workout."
Yvonne: "Really? Then I should do it more often. My dresses are becoming tighter."

***

Sean: "This is awk."

Sean: "Shall we...cuddle?"

Rebecca: "Okay."

Rebecca: "My heart is beating so fast."
Sean: "Mine too. I don't know what to do. And I'm getting sweaty. I'm not used to smart wear."

Rebecca: "They say opposites attract."
Sean: "Dude, we don't need to start going so deep. We just started. How about..."

Thank you for viewing the Smole, Season 24!
