41.19-Ready for it

In the previous episode, the final three had to try and earn back the 266 points they bid away beforehand while avoiding being h(a)unted by the executed contestants. They succeeded in finding all the points, and as such the amount was doubled to 532 points. The pot now has 662/1200 points and Claves earned a clue. Will the clue help her win or is it inconsequential? Who is the Mole?

DAY 19

Claves: "Another stupid letter from the PRF!"

Claves: "Why hasn't he written me yet? I can't believe my letter from home was actually from Witos."

Claves: "I regret giving Joaquinn the Smole address. It's fine if he doesn't want to write me but the PRF and the government found me because of it."

Claves: "There are some things that you can believe about me and some things you should not. I tell a lot of lies, but my reason for joining the Smole was not one of them. I was bored, but also I wanted to escape. It was too dangerous to stay put in one place. I told my brother who consulted the PRF. Sometimes I feel that he's more loyal to them than to his own sister. Anyway, the group agreed because they felt it would be a good chance to gain international support. But you watching this at home, do you really feel like supporting me? Or the PRF? I feel used. It's as if I'm a tool rather than a cared-for individual. Sometimes I wished I didn't bother myself with this. Life would be so much simpler. It's never easy fighting for a cause."

Kelly: "Zane was the last one in the museum but he got caught, and not to mention he sent me back into the arms of the guard...Claves failed badly in the archery task..."

Kelly: "Loretta--I mean Claves--"

Kelly: "Ugh. This is hopeless. I can't concentrate. Not with all the things going on back home. Gary must need the support right now. I feel so guilty for not being there for his sister's funeral."

Zane: "Are you awake?"

Kelly: "What do you want?"

Zane: "Someone is snarky."

Zane: "I just wanted to talk to you. You know, final moments before the big thing."

Zane: "Are you ready for it?"

Kelly: "Honestly? No. It's like I'm going for my final exams with wool over my eyes."

Zane: "Oh right. You were applying for uni. How is it going?"

Kelly: "I've scheduled the interview a week later. I prepared myself as much as I can but things seem to be so different nowadays. They are asking so much more from students."

Kelly: "I'm actually excited for it. It's been my lifelong dream."

Kelly: "I applied to prove Chase and the rest wrong. That I could still be a student at 50. That I'm not some stupid worthless boor who's not compatible for her smart uni-grad son."

Kelly: "But now, after hearing about what happened to Loretta...I'm not doing it for her or for anyone any more. There's no point in that. I guess I just didn't realise I'd let go of the hate already. Everything I'm doing now is for myself. It's about what I want and not what others think about me."

Zane: "I always admired your attitude and spunk. I think it's sexy when a woman has so much conviction."

Claves: "I see Kaylie."

Claves: "I assume you have my clue."

Kaylie: "Clue? I don't know if I have the clue you're looking for."

Kaylie: "But I can tell you that despite my better judgement, I gambled everything on Kelly being the Mole in both my quizzes."

Jennifer: "It's useless to you now but in my final quiz, I put Hans down."

Jennifer: "However, I was torn between him and Kelly."

Claves: "What happened to you?"

Chase: "Someone cannonballed into the pool and got me all wet."

Chase: "Let's cut to the chase. Pamela and Kelly were my two suspects. However, I was convinced that Pamela was more likely to be the Mole."

Claves: "I see. Thank you."

Hans: "All this while Zane was someone I took note of. However, closer to the days of my execution I began to think Pamela was it."

Hans: "So I answered the question with Pamela. I swear this is the truth."

Jane: "I suspected Chase and Hans. Sorry I can't be of more help."

Stanley: "You!"

Stanley: "You're the Mole!"

Claves: "Me?"

Claves: "So you thought that I was the Mole?"

Stanley: "I do now."

Claves: "What do you mean by that? Can you just tell me who you answered your final quiz with?"

Stanley: "Zane."

Pamela: "It's nice to see you again, Claves, even though we just met yesterday."

Pamela: "This is a bit awkward because I thought you were the Mole."

Pamela: "That's what I answered for my quiz. Between you and me...are you the Mole?"

Claves: "Thank you for your time."

Claves: "This gives me some food for thought."

Zane: "This is your clue?"

Claves: "As reward for sharing information like I promised."

Zane: "I didn't do much. All I told you were Pam's suspicions. I'm glad things turned out the way it did. I don't have to worry about whether or not to share with her everything for the final quiz now."

Zane: "Hang on. Some of the photos are missing."

Claves: "This is what I received."

Zane: "How can be this be all the Moles in Smole history if not all the Moles are inside?"

Zane: "Are you sure this is everything?"

Claves: "This is as I received."

Zane: "I can't do much with this. It's incomplete."

Zane: "What about your other clue? The one you just got?"

Claves: "That was not part of the deal."

Zane: "The other day Claves came up to me asking to provide information in exchange for the clue she won at the casino. It was too good to pass up. But when I took a look at her clue, there were some photos of past Moles missing. I don't remember all but a few missing were Season 1, Season 6, Season 7, Season 18 and Season 25. I'm trying to find out the connection between them but I can't think of anything."

Claves: "I don't know I managed to fool Zane. All 40 photos were present when I received them but I removed a few random ones, such as...Elaine Moseby for instance. I can only hope he took the bait."

Claves: "I don't trust Zane."

Claves: "As I expected, he was willing to betray Pamela for better information."

Kelly: "What information?"

Claves: "I showed him a clue."

Kelly: "Why? That's something you should have kept to yourself."

Claves: "His information was something he should have kept to himself too. Because now I have the complete picture."

Zane: "All the best Kelly. I hope we keep in touch after this. And Claves too."

Kelly: I analysed and analysed. My conclusion is that Clavés Vann earned lesser than Zane Averridge and is thus the Mole.

Zane: Kelly may be hot as hell but she failed to distract me from the fact that she's the Mole. All the clues, all the executions, all her actions all point to it.

Claves: Things are slowly becoming clearer for me. It is a gamble but clues seem to point to the fact that the Mole is actually nobody.
