53.20-I have returned

Before the final mission and quiz, there were 461/940 points. The final three, Cleon, Barbara and Bonita, had to take the final quiz by collecting 30 answers to the Mole. Although Cleon wasn't the last, he was the final contestant to be executed. The final two ladies know who's the winner and who's the Mole. Do you? If not, it's time for the big reveal: Who is the Mole?

The finale ceremony takes place at Palmino Drvo Nightclub. Let us welcome back the contestants of the season.

Erina: "It's so good to be back."

Brie: "I don't know why I accepted the invitation to the ceremony in all honesty. I hate crowds. I don't want to get to know the others more."

Elijah: "I shouldn't have been executed so early. Shame."

Wallace: "I have returned."

Humphrey: "'Sup all! Good to see everyone again."

Heidi: "Aloha!"

Hugo: "I was going to turn myself in, but I had to know who the Mole is first before I leave."

Celine: "Ugh. I should be the winner."

Cleon: "It's like I never left."

"Welcome back contestants. Unfortunately Wesley is unable to join us today. Today, we are back to witness to reveal of the winner and the Mole."

"Speaking of which, our two VIPs of the night have arrived."

"Ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together for Bonita Perez and Barbara O'Reilly!"

"One of these ladies already knows that she's the winner and the other of course is the Mole. But who's who?"

"Is the Mole Barbara O'Reilly, the sweet and helpful mother of the house? She portrayed herself as innocent and hapless but was it all a cover?"

"Or is the Mole Bonita Perez, the feisty Spanish flamenco dancer? At times she appeared too emotional to be the Mole but was it a mere distraction from her true identity?"

"Ladies and gentlemen, the Mole of the Smole, Season 53..."

"...is..."

"...Bonita Perez!"

"Let us welcome Bonita up."

"Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for the Mole!"
Bonita: "Thank you. It was my pleasure to be the Mole this season. Maybe you were looking for a low-key Mole given the twist this season, but no, it is me, Bonita Perez. I am the Mole."
"Thank you Bonita. You did a fantastic job this season."

"That also means that our winner of the Smole, Season 53 is Barbara O'Reilly! Ladies and gentlemen, a warm round of applause!"

Barbara: "Thank you everyone. This to me is still just a dream. I could barely contain my excitement when Cleon was executed because it meant I won. I couldn't have done it without my good friend and coalition partner Heidi. She was the one who helped me realise that Bonita could be the Mole. My emotions have settled a bit but I'm still overjoyed. I can't wait to tell my family."

Heidi: "Shucks I was executed but I'm so happy for you Barb. Thanks for giving me a shout-out."
"Thank you Barbara. You played wonderfully this season, beating all odds to make it as the winner."

Humphrey: "I don't know how to feel that the one I trusted the most ended up being the Mole. She's a master manipulator."

Hugo: "I had the right Mole."
Celine: "I knew it was Bonita all along. She was my only suspect for the longest time. I should have won."
"This season's Mole was a fairly obvious one because not one, not two, but five of you had Bonita as the Mole. Her name even appeared right in the first quiz, courtesy of Cleon. This makes it even more impressive that Barbara managed to beat all odds to emerge as the winner."

"The pot is at 461/940 points, but that's before the last quiz. Cleon, you got 28/30. Barbara got 30/30. Applying the penalty for wrong answers, this brings the pot to 517/1000 points."
Cleon: "Barbara is the embodiment of 'slow and steady wins the race'."

"That's not the final pot. Bonita's name appeared 29 times in total in the quizzes, including the final quiz. The final pot is thus 546/1000 points. Bonita, you get 454,000 Simoleons. Barbara, you get 546,000 Simoleons. Congratulations to both."

"What do you plan on doing with the money?"
Barbara: "There are so many Sims out there who need help. With this money, I am able to help even more of them."
Bonita: "I will inject the money into my dance school and save some for my son."
"Both valid and selfless uses."

"While Barbara managed to claim the bigger share of the pie in the end, for a while it looked like Bonita had the pot under control. It is time to find out what Bonita did to sabotage the season."

"In the first mission, Bonita could ensure her 10 points were not added to the pot by remaining outside at the end. She also gave random guesses using colours that did not exist to try and mislead others."

"Bonita didn't get a chance to sabotage in the second mission as she was successfully blocked by the group. In the mission following that, she made sure to get her team to the bidding stage. There, she bid high to pull the average bid higher. This meant the closest bid would have to be higher too."

"In the fourth mission, Bonita tried to mislead Humphrey and Heidi into giving wrong answers. She succeeded with Humphrey by giving him a false choice. When it was her turn she gave vague clues."

"For the next mission, Bonita made sure her pair earned nothing by first sending Humphrey to get her an exemption instead of points, and then herself wasting time so that she would not make it in time."

"In Mission 6, Bonita visited the city first knowing that the thief would be furthest from the city but end up there at the end. By clearing the town area first, Bonita could convince the others to look elsewhere and not return to the city. She diverted Celine's attention, sending her after an innocent car and then wasting time in other parts of Plavi Raj. She was also the one to suggest that the thief could be escaping by boat, causing most of the contestants to venture out to sea and thus fail to make it back on land to stop the thief in time."

"In Mission 7, Bonita played along when Cleon thought she was infected. Knowing that he did not trust her, Bonita suggested sending the healthy Sim in their room over. By reverse psychology, Cleon fell into her trap and sent the infected Sim over instead, wrongly thinking she was fine. That one Sim was enough to cause the entire mission to fail."

"Jumping to Mission 9, Bonita wanted to be heavily involved in all three rounds. When she steered the boat she sped up, causing Celine to miss some signs. When Bonita was with a local, she wanted to waste time with a local, not expecting Barbara to accidentally give the right answer. When Bonita was waterskiing, she made sure to only see a few signs and waste time on locals who did not understand them, cleverly using the keywords she found to turn the question into another one."

"Finally, in the last mission Bonita made use of the fact that her answers would not be counted and the fact that there was only one of each answer. She took a few correct answers that pertained to her as that would mean one less correct answer for the others to find."

"Only 29 quizzes had Bonita's name, so she gets to keep her share. Other popular suspects were Wallace, Wesley and even Erina. There were many of you who failed to catch Bonita so it's time to see how some of the clues may have helped you in your search for the Mole."

"The first clue is in Episode 5. The starting letters were CBAEARO and RCAMNAI. They could form ABACERO and CAMINAR respectively, both of which are Spanish words. Bonita is Spanish."

"In Mission 4, the clues were in the songs. The songs were, in order: Macarena, Toxic, Billie Jean, Scream and Shout, Be My Baby, Lose Control, Hips Don't Lie, Not Afraid, Haven't Met You Yet and Million Years Ago. Taking the first letter of the first song, the second letter of the second song and so on will spell MOLE BONITA."

"In Mission 5, a Spanish flag (or at least a flag with Spanish colours) could be seen in Station 1, referencing Bonita's heritage."

"In Episode 10, there were two letters that could be seen on the books on a shelf. The letters were B and P, Bonita's initials."

"The last clue is in Episode 14. The image above is called 'Bonita is the Mole'. If that wasn't an obvious clue, then nothing is."

"The clues are fewer this season but for many of you, it wasn't needed. We have come to the end of the finale ceremony. Congratulations once again to the winner and the Mole."

Cleon: "Hey Celine."
Celine: "Ugh, get away from me you creep."

Elijah: "My bubbles are the biggest."
Wallace: "No, mine are bigger."

Brie: "I thought y'all wouldn't be able to talk if you were busy blowing bubbles."

Heidi: "Congrats Barb. You deserve it."
Barbara: "I still feel like I'm dreaming. I'm giddy with glee right now. Never would I have thought I would win."
Heidi: "Cleon was the hare and you were the tortoise. He may have caught Bonita first but you managed to beat him. Now let's paartaay!"

Bonita: "Do you blame me?"
Humphrey: "It hurts but I'll get over it. You were just doing your job."
Bonita: "If you want to continue learning how to dance, come to my dance school."
Humphrey: "You know what? Sure, why not? Might as well finish what we started, and now without the Mole to get in our way."

Hugo: "I knew it was Bonita the moment Wesley was executed. I was so close to winning the money. But I guess it doesn't matter in the end."
Humphrey: "What do you mean?"
Hugo: "Tomorrow morning I'm turning myself in and answering for my crimes. Congrats by the way Bonita."

Thank you for staying till end. Till next season.
