38.18-We make the rules

In the previous mission, the final four had to mine for ores. It was a laborious one hour with 143/240 points earned for the pot. Ivy found the exemption and hence made it to the finale. Who will join her? Will she walk away with the 859/1400 points in the pot? Or will she take whatever is not in the pot?

Keith: "We're so close to the finale. As a result, we aren't sharing everything with each other any more. Ultimately, it's every man for himself. We all want to win. And we can't do that by sharing. To put it bluntly, we've been using each other this whole season. Friendships have merely been mutually beneficial relationships. It would be nice to be able to stay close after the Smole, but if it doesn't work out, so be it."

Abbie: "Keith, as a college student you need to stay up late often. You really need these to help you stay in top condition."

Keith: "I told you: no."
Abbie: "But it's good for you! Maybe you can't see it yet--"

Keith: "Abbie, you have been trying to sell me so many things every single day. I'm not interested. Do you not realise how annoying you are? Everybody hates you now!"

Abbie: "Really?"

Keith: "Really. Do you not see how Ivy and Morgan, and even I, have been keeping our distance from you?"

Abbie: "But..but why? Why does nobody want to buy from me? It's not like the products are bad."

Keith: "Buying from you will be giving our approval for Armwey's business tactics."

Abbie: "What's wrong with it? Everyone can get rich!"

Keith: "Wake up, Abbie! Don't be stupid. If you do the math, you'll see that the ones who really benefit aren't those at the bottom selling the goods."

Abbie: "Then show me."

Keith: "If I give you the detailed breakdown, will you really accept it?"

Abbie: "This just means you can't do it. You're lying."

Keith: "See? I knew there would be no point. You've sold your soul to Armwey. I pity you, Abbie. You've fallen into their trap, and now you can't get out."

Morgan: "You're willing to move back into this room?"
Ivy: "Maybe. But this room is ultimately more private. Especially with the door locked now."

Ivy: "I love this room."
Morgan: "And I love you."

Ivy: "Enough with the cheap talk. How are you going to use your actions to prove it?"
Morgan: "I can prove it to you now, if you want."

Ivy: "No, not right now."
Morgan: "Feel my sincerity. Then you know I mean my words."

Morgan: "I may not be able to divorce her right now, but we can worry about the future later. Right now, it's just me and you. And I intend to make it count."

Ivy: "We're being filmed."
Morgan: "Then the whole world can see my love to you."

Ivy: "Let go of me!"

Morgan: "I'll never let go of you."

Morgan: "Aurgh!"

Morgan: "What the hell? Did you just try to claw me?"

Morgan: "You'll pay for that. What are you rummaging for?"

Ivy: "And you'll pay for everything you did to me in the past."

Morgan: "I don't understand."

Ivy: "I thought you were smarter than that, Mr. Lowell. You were my Cepheus, and I was your Cassiopeia. Did you forget all that when you married that bitch?"

Morgan: "Ada? But...how?"

Ivy: "You hurt me too many times in the past. I vowed never to get hurt again."

Morgan: "Put that knife down, Ada."

Ivy: "It's Ivy. Ada is long gone. She died when your wife drove her into the sea. She died when you took her heart away from her, ripped it into pieces, trampled all over it and fed it to that bitch."

Ivy: "And now, you'll pay for everything."

Morgan: "Please...don't. Security! Where is the security in this place?"

Ivy: "All the staff should be sleeping at this point in time. There is nobody here but the cameras and the other two. By the time anyone realises, it will be too late."

Morgan: "We can talk things over. Don't you love me?"
Ivy: "Did you love me?"
Morgan: "Of course! I have always loved you!"

Ivy: "LIAR!"

Ivy: "If you truly loved me, you would never have chosen her over me. You would never have bullied me, or let anyone bully me. All this time I've been waiting for my revenge. Tonight, it ends. And tomorrow, I'll be gone, and you'll be gone for good."

Keith: "What is going on here? I heard yelling."

Morgan: "You can't touch me. If I shed a single drop of blood, Keith will know you were behind it. OPEN THE DOOR, IVY."

Keith: "Open it, or I'll knock down this door!"

Keith: "Er...was I interrupting something?"
Morgan: "No, absolutely not. Ivy is just tired. You should escort her to her room."
Keith: "Okay...but you might want to get your skirt first, Ivy."

"Good morning, contestants. I hope you have amply prepared yourselves. Ivy's light is turned on because she has an exemption. Another contestant whose light will turn on will be..."

"Keith Summers. Another light to turn on will be for..."

"Morgan Lowell."

Abbie: "Aw man."

Abbie: "Wait, what?"

Ivy: "Wait, what?"

"Yesterday, we learnt some very disturbing news. Ivy Waxes tried to murder a fellow contestant. While we welcome drama, we do not tolerate it if it involves the planned demise of another contestant. Henceforth, Ivy will be removed from the game."

Ivy: "You can't do this. I have an exemption!"
"We can, actually. We make the rules."

Morgan: "Do you need security to escort you?"

Ivy: "No. I'll walk myself. I know you want me gone, Morgan. You always have. But I'll get my chance. Sleep with one eye open, Mr. Lowell."

"The police have been notified, and after discussing with them, Ivy will be sent for psychiatric evaluation first. I can confirm now that Ivy Waxes is not the Mole. The Mole is still among you. In other news, congratulations to the three of you for making it to the finale."

Morgan: "What a relief."

Abbie: "That was really shocking. I didn't expect Ivy to want to kill someone! Who did she try to kill?"

In a shocking turn of events, Ivy has been eliminated, right at the most critical juncture! With this cast of finalists, can you figure out who the Mole is, or who will win?
