In the last episode the final three had one last bonus mission to do: catch the Mole. Derrick and Maya found each other at the same station, but is either of them the Mole or winner? Or has the Mole successfully sabotaged the pot one last time? Who wins? Who is the Mole? Find out now.
Maya: "Huh? I..."
Derrick: "The jig is up, Maya. You fooled a lot of us, me included. But when it was down to us three, I realised that you were the only possibility left."
Derrick: "Admit it, Maya. Are you the Mole?"
Maya: "Yes. Mole me."
Noel: "Crap. Derrick found Maya."
Jay: "No way! All of you were right!"
Mabel: "She's the Mole? I did not see that coming. It was possible, but I wasn't sure if it was her."
Nina: "I can't believe it. Sweet Maya is the Mole! She sure had me fooled. In retrospect it makes sense. She needs the money the most. The only way to ensure that is by giving her this role."
"Ladies and gentlemen, there you have it: the Mole of Season 48, Maya Hennessey!"
Maya: "Hello everybody. I Maya. Mole is me. I happy I get money. I happy many many friend. But I sad I lie. They say I must lie or no money. I love father. He need money so I lie."
Marina: "Can she even English?"
Emily: "Who are you again?"
Marina: "A fan of the Smole, duh! When I found out the finale was going to be in Bridgeport I knew I had to come."
Lilly-Bo: "Ew, how dare she copy my hairstyle?"
Oscar: "It really is Maya. She was so innocent it was hard to actually catch her. I had suspicions but never proof."
Joyce: "I think part of it was because she is partly clueless about what is going on, so that helped her."
Maximillian: "Damn it, Maya. Why did it have to be you? If not I probably would have been the winner."
Noah: "Amen to that. At least I can say my dad didn't lie to me this time."
Maya: "Sorry."
"There is no need to be sorry, Maya. You were a wonderful Mole who was insanely hard to pin down. You had a role to play and you played it well. Shall we walk through your sabotages?"
Maya: "Okay..."
"Right in the very first mission Maya attempted to throw everyone off by playing against the Mole--only that she was the Mole, and she was playing against herself. As Maya, she gave vague clues, causing Nina to summon an opposing team member instead. As the Mole, she gave clear clues. To avoid giving herself away, as Mole she kept her sentences concise."

Maya: "Name: 1."
Nina: "Did I call the wrong one by mistake? Does she mean Canada?"
Derrick: "I'm from the blue team."
Nina: "Oh no..."

Maya: "Nina no know me. I choose different one. I no know...hunt: 1?"
Nina: "It's either Bow or Rabbits. My first instincts tell me to pick Jay."

"Maya played into her differences many times and hardly contributed to missions. In the third mission she let herself be controlled by others even though she knew that they were wrong. Once everyone started to guess so did Maya by always guessing wrongly. Every colour that belonged to her was in the wrong position."

Maya: "Here."

"In the fourth mission Maya hardly helped again, only occasionally finding words. She made sure to be as useless as possible and never found words in which some of the letters were already blacked out.
"In Mission 5 Maya drew whatever she wanted, as permitted by Oscar. Her painting nearly led to Noel guessing the wrong book."

Noel: "I wonder if it's The Lion King."

"In Mission 6 Maya was the only one to be wrong about the scenes she watched."

Maya: "I think both wrong."
"That is incorrect. Both Noel and Emily have experienced what you have just seen."
Maya: "No."

"In Mission 7 Maya played it cleverly. She always spread her points evenly. That would ensure that two-thirds of the points lost by the men would be lost for good. She also made sure to give more points to incorrect options when appropriate and aimed to balance the game by getting just enough points for corrections while leaving as little excess points as possible."

Maya: "I have 11 points...3 here, 4 here, 4 here."
"Time is up. You have put 3 points on A, 4 points on B and 4 points on C."
"The correct answer is A."
Maya: "Oh no..."

"In Mission 8 Maya deliberately answered the paper she was given even though she knew nothing about the topic. Noel would later have to spend time correcting her. Being portrayed as the weakest link, Maya used that to her advantage, making Noel do double the work. Conveniently, Maya spent the least time at the table with the correct paper. She also tried to get in the way when everyone was moving around. Also, the two questions Noel got wrong for his History paper? That was Maya's work."

"In Mission 9 Maya played the damsel in distress, forcing either Derrick or Noel to risk being bitten to save her. Maya exaggerated her fear at Seyen Park to keep Derrick by her side, leaving Noel to fend for himself. She made sure to deliver her package and make it back safely to lessen suspicion, but sabotaged Noel and Derrick, causing Derrick to lose 10 points by being bitten."

Derrick: "They've gotten in! They're going after Maya!"
Derrick: "Hey uglies! Over here!"

"Our two finalists have arrived. One of them is the winner of the 48th season of the Smole and the other is the runner-up. If Derrick wins, he gets an additional 100 points."
"Who will take home the pot?"
Noel: "After you."
Derrick: "No, after you."
Noel: "Surprise."
"Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of the Smole, Season 48: Noel McAllister!"
Noah: "That's my Dad! He won!"
Maximillian: "Guess he won't be getting the 100 points."
Jay: "Congratulations to Noel. He always seemed confident. I think he had Maya from an early stage."
Oscar: "To suspect someone who nobody else suspects...I figuratively take my hat off to him."
Joyce: "I was rooting for Derrick but good job to Noel."
Mabel: "I don't know how I should feel. It's a tough decision."
Nina: "Happy. Be happy for Noel."
Mabel: "Okay. Congrats Noel! You were amazing."
Noel: "Hey Mole."
Noel: "It was a wild ride, and that took a literal turn at the end. I can at least say I've survived a zombie apocalypse. Anywho, it's great to see all of you again, yadda yadda generic bullshit...naw, I'm just kidding. I'm so happy to see all of you again, especially Noah. It's even more amazing to know that I managed to win the Smole and was one of the few to identify Maya as the Mole. Feel proud of your daddy, Noah! Who's your daddy?"
Noah: "Noel's my daddy!"
Maximillian: "Gross."
"Congratulations, Noel. While you failed to earn the 100 bonus points, you get to keep the 480/1000 points in the pot.Out of the 7 times Maya was put as the Mole, 5 of them were by you. The last two times were by Oscar in the first quiz and Derrick in the final quiz. Congratulations Noel. You earn 487,000 Simoleons! That means Maya gets 513,000 Simoleons!"
Noel: "I have decided what I want to do with the money. Many of you joined this season to earn money. You need it more than me, so I'm going to give 50,000 Simoleons each to Joyce, Oscar, Derrick, Noah and even Maya. The rest of you will get 20,000 Simoleons each. The remainder will go to charity."
Jay: "Really? We all get money?"
Noel: "Yup. A season is only as good as its contestants."
"That is very generous of you, Noel."
Jay: "Thanks so much Noel! You've inspired me to donate half of the amount you gave me to charity too."
Emily: "All of us really appreciate it."
Noah: "I think that's foolish of you Dad but it's your decision and I'll respect it."
Joyce: "Oh my god...what can I do to repay you, Noel? Tell you what, the next time you visit my diner I'll give you a treat."
Oscar: "With this money my family can move comfortably..."
"Let us welcome our runner-up Derrick Wyland!"
Derrick: "Hey guys. Good to see all of you again. I didn't win but I didn't expect to. I literally only decided it was Maya at the end, and that was only because I had already suspected Noel before and Joyce went home because of it, so Maya was literally my only option left. Nevertheless, I think we all played a great game and it was an unforgettable journey."
Derrick: "Noel, congratulations. I can't thank you enough for wanting to split the money with me. And Maya, chin up. We don't hate you for being the Mole. In fact, I'm happy this season that you get so much money. I hope that it will improve you and your family's lives tremendously."
"Thank you Derrick. Please take a seat."
Derrick: "Looks like I'm gonna have to be lonely over here."
"We now know the truth: Noel is the winner and Maya is the Mole. Maya was a very hard Mole to catch but if you had paid close attention there were clues that led to her."
"In the first mission the Mole's team's codenames were all related to Maplestory. In that game, there is a sickly blonde woman called Maya too."
