25.09-I'm sitting beside a serial killer

Previously, the 11 contestants had to stand on a pole as long as they could--longer than the Non-Mole to earn points. All but Eunice, Martin, Youdina, Quentin and Rupert earned 20 points for themselves. They contributed 100/220 points to the group, making the pot 330/680 points. Madeleine earned an exemption for lasting the longest, but could not use it due to a sudden turn of events, sending Adelyn home with a broken leg. Who will leave the house next?

Jose: "Mmm...delicious."

Jose: "Don't be surprised. I know how to cook. Ever since my ex-wife left, I've been the sole caretaker of my two daughters. Well, them and the other women I regularly invite over for a dinner date. Maybe that's where they took their mother figure from. I've given up looking for a soulmate though. Living the bachelor life is sweet, especially now that my two babes have grown up and pursuing their hearts' desire."

Martin: "I feel free."

Quentin: "She's a funny guy. Kind of reminds me of Adelyn..."

Quentin: "I think the atmosphere has really worsened ever since Adelyn departed. Time has passed though and everyone is starting to get over it, but they still can't help worry a little."

Madeleine: "Ow! Good thing I'm wearing specs! Shouldn't have tried that ultra-difficult trick shot."

Rupert: "Hello Madeleine. Are you okay? I hope you didn't injure yourself!"

Madeleine: "I am fine. Thanks for your concern."

Rupert: "I really fear for your life. You like to live on the edge, and that could get you killed one day."

Madeleine: "I only take calculated risks, so not to worry."

Nicole: "I should start getting serious and revise. Numbers are dropping like flies."

Contestants will visit this little district and play a game of Mafia. There will be 3 mafia members, 1 doctor and 1 detective. Each "night", the mafia members will unanimously decide on someone to kill. In the "morning", everyone has to come together and decide who's from the mafia and lynch them. If the town wins, 300 points will go to the group pot and those that survived till the end get an exemption. If the mafia wins, 300 points will be divided up among them and they will get an exemption each.

The day begins.

Who has been killed?

Stephen: "It begins."

Eunice: "This is exciting."

Jose: "I've been locked in! Someone let me out! That's not fair. I want to play! I'm seriously pissed right now."

Madeleine: "Are you the mafia?"

Stephen: "Madeleine, nobody will admit it to you."

Madeleine: "I know. So those that do aren't."

Angela: "Who could be part of the malicious mafia?"

Youdina: "It's really too early to tell at this point. I think Stephen is pretty suspicious though. He looked really nervous when he stepped out of the house."

Angela: "It is worth a shot. I do not mind killing the innocent to get to the culprits."

Martin: "No, you numbskull! It is clearly Stephen!"

Martin: "Without a doubt!"

Rupert: "Okay, okay! Don't hurt me."

Quentin: "Everyone, let us discuss as one!"

Quentin: "Please?"

Quentin: "Nobody is bothering with me."

Nicole: "Well, we can discuss. I really don't have a good feeling about Madeleine."

Quentin: "But we don't have proof."

Nicole: "There won't be proof. Besides, she already has an exemption. If she makes it to the end, then she'll get a double exemption."

Quentin: "That's true. It'll be wasted on her."

Angela: "So, who do you propose the mafia may be?"

Madeleine: "I've been going around talking to everyone...or almost everyone. Right now I'm leaning towards Eunice. She seems so relaxed. She's just sitting there waiting for the sky to drop."

Angela: "I have been hearing rumours that it is Stephen. Could it be?"

Madeleine: "I don't think it's him. We have to be careful and only lynch when we know for sure."

Angela: "But we will never know for sure. We must take a risk."

Madeleine: "I want everything to be perfect. I want to get to the end."

Angela: "You have no need to. You are becoming very suspicious, Madeleine."

Martin: "It's so clearly Stephen."

Youdina: "Don't you want to at least consider other possibilities?"

Martin: "You are so dense! Go back to Egypt and build pyramids or something!"

Youdina: "You do not have to insult me! Maybe we should all lynch you instead since you're so unreasonable and thick-skinned."

Martin: "Me? Thick-skinned? It's better than a thick skull!"

Madeleine: "...so it cannot be Martin, right?"

Angela: "I am very confused right now."

Madeleine: "Just listen to me, and you won't go wrong."

Angela: "So we have decided that the most likely is Stephen?"

Madeleine: "After analysing, yes. It's our best move.'

Madeleine: "I was hoping to see if I could get anyone to blurt out any incriminating evidence. Or those that eagerly jump on the bandwagon. Eunice was really really suspicious. Nicole too. Angela just seems genuinely confused. I don't think it's Stephen, but if it's that's the way to bring truth to light, sorry, but you're sacrifice, Stephen."

Stephen: "Why are you just sitting here? Who are you going to vote for?"

Eunice: "I'm just going to follow the majority. For this first round anyway."

Stephen: "Hmm, okay. Join forces with me and we can get Eugenia out."

Eunice: "Why her?"

Stephen: "She has no points right now. She's probably the Non-Mole, so it doesn't matter if she's mafia or not. She'll win for the group."

Quentin: "But it can't be Stephen."

Nicole: "Why not?"

Quentin: "Has he defended himself?"

Nicole: "He made no attempt to. I really think it's because he knows he can't fool us any longer."

Quentin: "Look, we should be getting Madeleine out. She came to me just now and I accused her in her face. She didn't take to it very kindly. An over-reaction even, I would say. Especially since it's just a game."

Nicole: "Well, they are both suspicious. I think the majority will pick Stephen though, so let's just follow the majority for now, or we may invite unnecessary trouble."

Stephen: "I don't know why everyone thought I was part of the mafia. Do I look so guilty? I don't fall into any classification or stereotype, that's for sure. Maybe it's my unpredictability that scares them. I bet Rupert is mafia. Or Nicole. I noticed that she only went round talking to some contestants rather than all."

Youdina: "There's no point in talking to you. I'm going to vote for Madeleine."

Martin: "You're making a big mistake."

Youdina: "My vote is for Madeleine."

Martin: "Stop being so stubborn."

Youdina: "Ha! Could say the same about you."

Nicole: "Madeleine, you're here."

Madeleine: "I thought I heard my name. If Quentin is trying to spread rumours, please ignore him. I am not the mafia, I swear."

Nicole: "I don't know who to believe. You both seem very trustworthy. One of you has to be lying, right?"

Quentin: "Don't let her get into your head. Either way just kill her off. I am innocent. You can trust me. I'll never lie for a game."

Madeleine: "Fine. Vote for me. It's your funeral."

Martin: "I'm voting for Stephen."

Martin: "You heard that, Eugenia? STEPHEN!"

Madeleine: "The others are casting their votes."

Rupert: "I really don't want to offend anyone."

Stephen: "You can vote for whoever you want."

Rupert: "I really don't know. Stop making me take sides."

Stephen: "Do I scare you?"

Madeleine: "I'm voting for Stephen."

Rupert: "I'm sorry, but, I'm voting for Stephen."

Nicole: "I'm voting for Stephen."

"Contestants, please come out."

Angela: "Why is my door locked? Unless...blasphemous."

"The mafia have killed Angela."

Rupert: "I am alive!"

Martin: "Hahaha! Loser!"

Angela: "That Martin is so vile and unreasonable! He cannot listen to reason or logic! And he tried to insult me when I was killed by the mafia. I wish him dead."

Nicole: "Hi Madeleine."

Madeleine: "You voted for me. I bet you're the mafia, along with Quentin."

Nicole: "What? No, of course not."

Eunice: "I don't know."

Youdina: "Just go and talk to someone else. I have nothing to share with you."

Madeleine: "...and that's why I can't be the mafia!"

Nicole: "Such an impassioned speech. Maybe you really aren't the mafia."

Madeleine: "Thank you. At last."

Eunice: "So I bet Rupert is mafia."

Youdina: "The least likely being the most likely? That's highly possible."

Quentin: "Do you hear that? The ladies there think you're mafia. Are you?"

Rupert: "Of course not! But everyone is saying you are. Don't intimidate me, please."

Quentin: "Well, they can say whatever they want. I know that Stephen can't be the mafia. I bet he wasn't. Everyone who voted for him is suspicious."

Rupert: "I'm not the mafia! Really! Don't squash me!"

Quentin: "Relax. I never said you were. Unless you're admitting it."

Madeleine: "Everyone! Can we talk together?"

Madeleine: "I like to hear what you think, Martin."

Youdina: "Really? That's suspicious."

Madeleine: "That's a terrible reason to think someone as mafia, Eugenia."

Martin: "Listen to me already. I am thinking that Quentin is the mafia."

Youdina: "Don't listen to him. He's always wrong. He's probably mafia."

Eunice: "Even if he's not there's no harm in getting rid of him for the giggles. At least we'll have more peace even with murder around."

Martin: "I AM NOT MAFIA!"

Rupert: "Should we go over?"

Quentin: "No. I called them during the first day and nobody came. So I'll give them a taste of their own medicine."

Rupert: "You frighten me."

Martin: "What have I ever done? A personality is the worst reason to pick someone. I bet you're the mafia, and you were trying to fool everyone. Or maybe Funny Bones here is the mafia. Or Nicole. Or Eugenia. Or those two fellows over there."

Rupert: "He called us!"

Quentin: "Shh.. Just eavesdrop."

Rupert: "What if we're caught?"

Quentin: "We will be caught if you keep talking."

Madeleine: "Your attempt in deflecting suspicion is horrible. In fact, I'll say that it backfired."

Nicole: "Yes, you're really convincing me that you're the mafia, Martin."

Quentin: "I'm going to cast my vote now. I'll vote for Martin."

Eunice: "I'm voting for Martin too."

Rupert: "I want to vote for Quentin, but he's not going to get enough votes and he may come for revenge, so I'll vote for Martin."

Youdina: "I vote for Martin."

Who has been killed?

Nicole: "Nobody?"

Madeleine: "Yes!"

Quentin: "Rupert, the longer you stay the more I think you're mafia. Why would the mafia keep you?"

Rupert: "I don't know myself. It's scary to think you're just a pawn in someone else's game. That your every movement is within control."

Eunice: "Quentin, why not you?"

Quentin: "How many times do I have to say this? Well, it's honestly up to you all."

Madeleine: "You let the cat out of the bag. I know you're part of the mafia gang, Nicole."

Nicole: "No I'm not. I was only shocked because I thought the mafia would get someone."

Madeleine: "Rupert. Rupert was saved by the doctor, aka me."

Nicole: "You? Oh, so that's why you were so happy earlier."

Youdina: "What? Madeleine is the doctor? Can I trust her words?"

Eunice: "Hee hee!"

Youdina: "Are you okay? You really feel suspicious to me."

Eunice: "Let me tell you something. I'm actually the mafia! It's so exciting to go undercover. Our plan was this: first, we get rid of Jose. He's a strong competitor, we feel. We then got rid of Angela because she was strong too. Madeleine was useful to us. Somehow the doctor predicted that we would get rid of Rupert because he was pointless. I don't know if her claims are true but nobody really trusts her, so that's good. As for me, I talked to everyone, including my fellow mafia buddies, so that nobody would pick me. I should have played a harder game though. It's hard to defend myself without sounding fake."

Madeleine: "That's right. Everyone, I'm the doctor! I saved Rupert from his death!"

Nicole: "How do I know I can believe you? Anyone can make a false claim and falsify evidence" 

Madeleine: "Fine. Don't believe me. You'll see. Just let me live. I bet I'll save the right one next. If nobody dies the next round, you know I'm telling the truth."

Youdina: "I feel that Madeleine could be lying."

Quentin: "She sounds so convincing though. But if she's really the doctor, then she's been telling the truth the whole time and Nicole is the mafia."

Rupert: "I'm not sure who to pick."

Youdina: "Shall we just take a gamble?"

Eunice: "So, Nicole. You're mafia, eh? Could have had me fooled."

Nicole: "I'm not, honest! Why would you think that? I'm so hurt. She's lying. I know it. Back me up here!"

Madeleine: "So Eunice is your comrade?"

Nicole: "What? No! I'm not mafia! You should know best. Because I'm the doctor!"

Eunice: "Wait, what? I'm confused now. Who's telling the truth and who's telling a lie?"

Nicole: "I'm telling the truth here. I didn't want to reveal it for fear that mafia would pick me, but I'm left with no choice if I have to survive."

Madeleine: "You took the words right out of my mouth. Eunice, if you really aren't the mafia, pick Nicole. She slipped up earlier when she showed how disappointed she was when nobody died."

Eunice: "I don't know. That is pretty compelling evidence."

Youdina votes for Nicole.

Madeleine votes for Nicole.

Eunice votes for Nicole.

Quentin votes for Madeleine.

Nicole votes for Madeleine.

Rupert: "Oh no, Quentin! I really fear for my life."

Eunice: "Woohoo!"

Youdina: "So, there's at least one mafia remaining."

Youdina: "I'm beginning to have doubts. Maybe Nicole really was innocent and she was the doctor."

Eunice: "You said that if nobody died, then you're the doctor. Can we lynch you now?"

Madeleine: "You're pretty trigger-happy. I was never wrong. I saved myself because I knew the mafia would try to get rid of me now that my identity is known. But I miscalculated somewhere."

Rupert: "Sorry to say this. Don't bash me up, but Quentin was pretty adamant that you were mafia."

Youdina: "Yes. And look at where he is now. Dead."

Eunice: "What do you have to say for yourself, Madeleine?"

Madeleine: "How long more must I keep defending myself? I kept saving Rupert at first, then I switched to myself. I am the doctor. Listen to me."

Rupert: "Okay, maybe you're right."

Youdina: "No, she's wrong! She's not the doctor!"

Madeleine: "And how do you know?"

Youdina: "Because..."

Madeleine: "Cat got your tongue? I think I've got it all figured out now. You're mafia, Eugenia! You're good, but I caught you eventually."

Rupert: "Really? You? I'm sitting beside a serial killer!"

Youdina: "Oh for crying out loud, Rupert. I'm not mafia. I think there's only one left, and that's Madeleine. Martin is mafia. Nicole is mafia. Madeleine is mafia. End of story."

Madeleine: "Weren't you pretty sure that Nicole was the doctor before she died?"

Youdina: "Oh, er...yes. Of course. She's doctor. I meant to say, erm..."

Eunice: "You've been caught, Eugenia."

Madeleine: "Let's all vote now. Hopefully it's all over."

Youdina: "Grr...I'm telling you, Madeleine is the mafia. Nobody believes me."

Rupert votes Youdina.

Youdina: "I couldn't be saved."

Madeleine: "I'm still here."

Rupert: "Nobody's dead? Madeleine, are you really the doctor?"

Eunice: "Please. As if she's the doctor."

Rupert: "But nobody died. If she's not doctor, then who is? You?"

Madeleine: "Don't listen to her rubbish. You know better."

Eunice: "If I say yes? I never wanted to reveal myself, even when two phonies came out, but now that the game's almost over, I might as well."

Madeleine: "Rubbish. She's lying, Rupert. It gets old when a third player claims she's the doctor."

Madeleine: "Don't listen to her, Rupert."

Eunice: "Don't listen to her, Rupert."

Madeleine: "You had your turn. Let me pitch now."

Eunice: "Sure. I want to see what tricks you have up your sleeves."

Madeleine: "None, unlike yours."

Eunice: "But I have no sleeves. Doesn't this prove something?"

Madeleine: "Ugh. Rupert, you have to believe me. You want to win the exemption, right? Then pick Eunice. I have saved you, and I saved myself. Eunice wanted to kill me but she failed because I saved myself."

Rupert: "Is that possible?"

Madeleine: "Yes! Eunice has been suspicious since Day One. She was so relaxed, then she bandwagoned the whole way through. Notice how she was so quiet when we were certain Eugenia was out?"

Eunice: "Hey! No personal attacks!"

Madeleine: "All the evidence points to her."

Eunice: "No, she's twisting the facts! Rupert, listen to me. She has been trying to defend herself so that she can survive and get those points in the group pot. She already has an exemption. Just off her already. Otherwise all she's doing is putting points in the pot."

Rupert: "She has a point."

Madeleine: "This is about mafia, not Mole! We're not discussing who the Non-Mole is. Besides, you'll be getting an exemption! I just want to win. I'm helping you, Rupert."

Eunice: "She's not. If I was mafia, when Eugenia was outed, I would have jumped in to defend her. I would have defended Nicole if she's mafia like Madeleine claims. Remember the first day? Everyone voted Stephen but the two mafia she claimed. Maybe she's right about those two, but not about me! I voted with the crowd, like all the innocent townsfolk."

Madeleine: "So did I!"

Stephen: "I'm so confused. Who's telling the truth?"

Madeleine: "I am!"

Nicole: "No, I am! Look at how desperate she is! The only reason why nobody died last night was because she wanted to throw us all off! She's using you, Rupert."

Madeleine: "Don't believe her. She's the one who plays with her words. Every night, the mafia must kill. They're idiots not to. I'm the doctor and she's the mafia."

Rupert: "Enough! Sorry, can I just have some time and space to think alone? I need some peace and quiet."

Madeleine: "Very well. You know who we're voting for."

Eunice: "Make the right choice, Rupert."

Rupert: "Gee, no stress there."

Eunice: "Even if you vote for me, I won't blame you. All I can say is 'good game' to Madeleine for somehow being the underdog."

Eunice: "I vote for Madeleine."

Madeleine: "I vote for Eunice."

One vote left.

Rupert: "Who do I vote for? I'm scared that I'll make the wrong choice and jeopardise the game. 300 points goes into the mafia's pot if they win! That's a lot. I think Madeleine is telling the truth though. And Eunice said she won't mind if I vote for her, so I guess...my vote is for Eunice."

Eunice: "Ugh, disgusting."

Madeleine: "You made the right choice, Rupert."

Eunice: "I hope I did. I don't want to let everyone down."

Madeleine: "We can only just wait for the next day."

"And look to your side."

Rupert: "Huh?"

Madeleine: "Green?"

Rupert: "Madeleine..."

Rupert: "We did it!"

Madeleine: "Good job! I'm glad you came through in the end."

"The town has won! 300 points have been added to the group pot, making it 630/980 points, but on the bright side, both Madeleine and Rupert have earned themselves an exemption! Madeleine, you are now exempt for two quizzes in a row!"

"Everybody, you may now come out now. It is time to reveal the roles. The mafia members are..."

"Eunice Trope..."

"Youdina Sunplaak..."

"...and Nicole Ferrier."

Nicole: "I'm not happy that I was thrown under the bus by my mafia members."

Youdina: "You were suspected. We had to get rid of you or they would have suspected us too."

"Madeleine is the doctor."

"The detective is Stephen."

Stephen: "I didn't even get a chance."

Jose: "Say that to my face."

Eunice: "Good game, Rupert."

Rupert: "Thanks."

Martin: "Selfish sucker. You spent 300 points for an exemption."

Eunice: "Ignore him."

Rupert: "You were really good. I was so confused. In the end I picked you because you wouldn't kill me if I picked wrongly."

Eunice: "Oh, haha! Then I shouldn't have said that."
