31.03-Traitor

Last time on the Smole, the contestants had to work together to try and decipher a message. They barely succeeded to earn 100 points for the group. Later, Lena was the first one to be executed and she was understandably bummed out. The pot is off to a good start but the next mission will pull the group apart...

***

Max: "It's terrible sleeping next to him. He even snores."

Giselle: "Put on some proper clothes will you!"

Sydney: "What's your f***** problem, mate? I wear whatever I want!"
Giselle: "Don't use that language on me!"

Sydney: "Alright, alright, chill man...woman. I'll put on something."

Sydeny: "F******* c***."

Sydeny: "It's awesome that I get a bed to myself. I usually just sleep with a bra and panties on but that prude Giselle starting yelling at me to be more decent. Like, GTFO, c***."

***

Melvin: "I'm hungry."
"Contestants, please head to the marketplace for breakfast."
Melvin: "They heard my calls."
Aaron: "So did everyone here."

***

Melvin: "What do you have? Do you have steak? Or something filling?"

Max: "I'm hungry."
Sydney: "I'm hungry. Was that a good impersonation? Or better than the original?"

Max: "Why do I get the feeling that Sydney hates me?"

Giselle: "I can't believe you don't sell shawarma."

Sydney: "Hey, did that cashier lady just leave? I wanted to order!"
Aaron: "She was going to pee herself."
Melvin: "Aaron, we're all trying to eat here."

Giselle: "So you play in a band, right? What do you play?"
Jacob: "Sax."
Giselle: "Excuse me?"

Giselle: "You're not going anywhere. How dare you use that filthy mouth to speak to me!"

Jacob: "Yo, what's your problem?"

Jacob: "I just answered what you wanted to hear."
Giselle: "WHAT!?"

Jacob: "Ow!"

Giselle: "I will not condone any woohoo business in here."
Jacob: "Huh? Oh, oh, you mad, woman. Sax as in saxophone. Not whatever your dirty mind was thinking."
Giselle: "Oh...I knew that. Did you just call me dirty-minded?"
Jacob: "Nope, not at all."

Neptha: "Oh, I could kiss you all day and let those foreigners starve."

"Hope you had a good breakfast. For your next mission, we will be helping you in trying to figure out your identities."

They are visiting a trap-laden house. There, they have to do "missions".

There are three rounds.

Each round, there will be a mission leader. This mission leader has to pick any three, which can include himself or herself, to send on a "mission".

Those on the mission are working for Mercucorp to look for relics.

However, it is possible that the resistance spies are among them.

If there is at least one spy in a mission, the relic would be destroyed.

To earn points, they must bring back the relics, 40 points for each relic. This is worth 120 points in total and an exemption will be given to each mission leader that brings back a relic in one piece.

Giselle: "I'll confess something. I had a lot of fun riding the scooter. I really shouldn't have been enjoying that childish machine but I don't know why I did."

"Round 1. Pick a mission leader."

Giselle: "I would like to be mission leader, if you all do not mind."

Max: "I do. I want to be."

Giselle: "I don't trust you."
Sydney: "How blunt."

Giselle: "We are here to earn points. We have to be Mercucorp."

Aaron: "How about we all just reveal who we are?"
Angie: "I don't think it's going to happen."

Melvin: "How about you two can be mission leaders, but for different rounds?"
Max: "I want to be the first one."
Jacob: "Let's put this to a vote."

Jacob: "Why is Max being so pushy? In the end we voted for Max to go first followed by Giselle. I was voted to be the last leader."

"Please choose three members to go on this mission."
Max: "I choose myself, Angie and Aaron."

Aaron: "I am naturally picking myself. I know who I am. I picked Angie and Aaron because I want to know more about them and see if they are capable of sabotage."

"Angie, Max and Aaron, please head to the other room."

Max: "We have to put on uniform?"

"Yes. While you are putting them on, note that there are relics around the house. You have one minute to try and find a relic."

"If you succeed, pass the relic to one of our crew. If you fail, return straight back."

"Your time begins now."
Max: "Follow my lead."

Aaron: "Does anyone else think it's stupid that we have to wear all-black? We won't be camouflaging. We'll be sticking out like a sore thumb. And not to mention it's bloody hot in Egypt and black is a poor emitter of heat."

Max: "Let's go into that room."

Max: "I bet there is one in the hole."
Aaron: "I'll supervise."

Max: "No need. Go find another hole."
Aaron: "And what if you find a relic and destroy it?"

Angie: "I'll go look for another hole."
Aaron: "Wait! Ugh. I trust her more than I trust you."

Max: "Insects."

Max: "Not what I was looking for."

Aaron: "We're wasting time. Let's go find Angie."

Angie: "Hmm, oh, a hole."

Aaron: "There she is."

Aaron: "We don't have time to look for another hole, so while she's searching, why not you tell me what your role is?"

Max: "No."

Angie: "I found something."

Angie: "Guys, I found a relic!"

Aaron: "Good job. Now let's get back."

They found a relic, but the question is whether they get to keep it.

***

Giselle: "So how is it?"
Angie: "We managed to find a relic!"

"You did, but unfortunately the relic has been destroyed by an unnamed resistance member. That means there is at least one resistance spy among the trio."

Aaron: "Please. That unnamed man is the crew member. They just swapped it out for some trash. It clearly looks different."

Max: "It's hard to play this game when you're trying to hide your identity."

Giselle: "Own up. Which of you three is from the resistance?"

Max: "I'm not."

Aaron: "There's no point in trying to hide anything. This mission is designed to make us spill the beans, so spill we shall. Angie."

Angie: "I'm not revealing anything."
Giselle: "We are to assume to be all from Mercucorp, just like the Mole pretends on the Smole. So by not saying anything, you're admitting that you're from the resistance."
Angie: "Suit yourself."

Aaron: "I'm from the resistance. That is what I can say."
Angie: "And why should we believe you?"

Jacob: "Okay, how about we send three completely different people for the next round?"

Melvin: "I'd like to volunteer."
Jacob: "Actually, I think someone from the first round should be part of it too, so that we can ascertain their identitio."

Giselle: "I am the leader. I will decide. We know that Lena is from the resistance, so that makes three more. If Aaron is correct, then we're not sending him. I think I'll send Max, Sydney and Jacob."

***

Max: "I've done this before. Follow me."

Jacob: "I think I'll check outside."

Jacob: "Hey, is that where they hide the treasure?"

Max: "There's nothing in this room. Let's go on."

Sydney: "Where is it?"

Sydney: "One minute is too short."

Max: "Sydney. Wait up."

Sydney: "Oh no. It's the guy who can't speak properly."

Jacob: "I think I feel somethin' down there..."

Max: "How did Jacob get there?"
Sydney: "He must know where the relics are. That's why he went there."

Max: "Let's go somewhere else where he can't hear us."

Jacob: "Nope. False alarm."

Max: "I think Jacob is from the resistance."

Sydney: "Wow! Genius!"
Max: "Thank you."

Sydney: "Oh my god, I thought Asians are smart. You're so dumb. That was sarcasm, mate."

Max: "Oh...nevermind that. How will we try to convince the others to not send Jacob next without telling him?"

Sydney: "I don't know. But there isn't much time left."

Sydney: "Oh, a hole hiding out here."

Jacob: "I think I feel somethin' again."

Max: "Empty."

Jacob: "Yeddy-yeah!"

Sydney: "What?"
Jacob: "Whut."
"One minute is up. Just in time, too. Jacob, pass the relic to a crew member."

They found it, but is there another spy among them?

Sydney: "F***** c***!"

Sydney: "Aah!"
Max: "Are you okay?"
Sydney: "Yeah."

Sydney: "I hope we did well."

"Unfortunately, the resistance was at it again. So far no points."

Max: "We failed twice."

Sydney: "I think Max is the resistance."

Max: "What?"

Max: "I am not! We agreed--"

Sydney: "He secretly told me that and tried to shush me up."
Giselle: "Interesting, but why are you telling us this?"
Sydney: "To earn points, duh!"

Giselle: "From the way she talked...is Sydney from Mercucorp?"

Angie: "Jacob, I think we should send those who haven't played yet for the last round."

Sydney: "But not Max or Jacob."
Giselle: "Why not Jacob?"
Sydney: "I am pretty sure he is from Mercucorp."
Angie: "Okay, so right now it's possible that Aaron and Max are from the resistance. That means either Giselle or Melvin could be the last member...or Sydney's the resistance."

Jacob: "Mindf***, man."

Jacob: "I'll send Melvin, Giselle and...eh...Angie."

Max: "Fine. Be like that. Accuse me of sabotaging."

***

Melvin: "This is so tight."
Giselle: "We need a plan."
"Your one minute begins now."
Angie: "No time for that, I'm afraid. I went once so I know where not to look."

Melvin: "I realised that nobody actually told us where they looked through already. That would save us a great deal of time."

Giselle: "Angie...I'm on to you."

Giselle: "I thought I saw something when I walked out."

Giselle: "Ah."

Giselle: "This is what we must look out for."

Angie: "Hmm..."

Melvin: "Oh, a bathroom."

Melvin: "Could they hide stuff here?"

Giselle: "I shouldn't be wasting my time."

Giselle: "Oh!"

Giselle: "I found it!"

Angie: "How peculiar that Giselle managed to find it so quickly."

Their last chance of earning points. Do they succeed?

Max: "I can't believe you threw me under the bus."
Sydney: "Wow, you know a phrase! Let me clap for you."
Max: "What is your problem?"
Sydney: "Your emphasis is all wrong, Chum-chow."

Melvin: "We're back."
Max: "Did you manage to find a relic?"
Melvin: "Giselle did really quickly."

"Unfortunately, the relic has been destroyed. The resistance is bent on not letting Mercucorp profit. As such, 0/120 points have been earned, making the pot 100/220 points. The mission leaders do not get any exemption."

Sydney: "This mission has given me much food for thought. I think I know some of their identities."
