37.14-Just kill me now

Scott Treverton, 28, self-employed vlogger

Daphne Eleanor Scotts, 24, freelance photographer

Gigi Fruit, 21, university student

Andy Slam, 21, unemployed

Mervyn Aubridge, 34, traffic policeman

Denise Wildflower, 33, unemployed

Vanessa Whitley, 35, touch rugby coach

Mika Blue, 35, adult entertainer

Mitchell Monroe, 26, research assistant

Giovanni Natt, 30, copy writer

The final four found themselves dumped in the swamps of Twinbrook and had to make their own way to the house. Scott successfully found his way, earning 10 points for the team, but the other three didn't have as much luck. They had a close brush with death but fortunately all survived and escaped in time, thus earning 25 points each, leading to a total of 85/100 points earned in the mission, or 405/750 points in the pot. Everybody could resist the temptation of peeking into an ex-contestant's journal, so no points were spent. Scott can breathe easily now that he's gotten a free ticket to the final three. Who are the other two who will join him? And who won't be so lucky this time?

***********
DAY 21
***********

Gigi: "Say what? Mervyn isn't the Mole? He's been my suspect for as long as I can remember! His execution just comes as an utter shock to me. That implies that we've been wrong all along."

Andy: "Mervyn is executed. I must look at everyone here more closely. I just hope I didn't put my trust in the wrong player...On another note, we all made it out but Scott looked the most relaxed. It turns out that he didn't have to endure any of the dungeons we did. Lucky guy. We had to choose our beds and there was a double bed in one room and two single beds in another. Gigi and I wanted to room together but Scott was adamant that since he found the house first he got priority so he picked the double bed. And he wanted Gigi or Daphne to room with him but of course they were reluctant, so in the end I ended up sleeping with him in the same bed. Goodness, this is awkward. It's like the other time I told Vanessa I slept with Gigi. On the same bed. Oh, just kill me now."

Daphne: "I may have escaped but I am not pleased one bit that all my clothes were left behind and I can't go back to get them. And nobody in production is willing to either. I can forget about the clothes but my purse! It contains everything I need, including my precious journal. You can't expect me to go on without my ammunition. What? Someone has already gone to clean up the houses and get my belongings? That's better."

Andy: "Scott has an exemption now. That means that if neither of us are the Mole, it has to be either Daphne or Scott. And if we both want to make it to the finale..."

Gigi: "Daphne must NOT be the Mole."
Andy: "Yep. But we don't know that for sure. If we want to maximise our chances of making it, we could both go for Scott to tide us over for this round at least."

Gigi: "That's really dangerous, going into the finale with no clue what you're doing."
Andy: "The other alternative is one of us picks Scott as the Mole while the other picks Daphne."

Gigi: "But one of us is going to be the sacrifice."
Andy: "Exactly. And I don't think either of us wants to do it."

Gigi: "What a headache...I'm just glad we all made it out alive."
Andy: "Me too. When I was trapped, I couldn't help but think about Zane. I may have survived but he didn't."

Gigi: "What did he look like?"

Andy: "I'll get you his photo. I keep photos of all those who matter to me in my journal. They're like a source of motivation for me to carry on."

Gigi: "Wait...him?"

Andy: "You recognise him?"

Gigi: "I...I...I do."

Andy: "I had no idea you knew him."

Gigi: "I didn't...how do I put it..."

Gigi: "Andy...I saw your friend when he died."

Andy: "What? No, that's impossible."

Gigi: "You know how there's a beach near Pierton Cliff? I was sunbathing there on that day, when I saw him trying to swim to shore."

Andy: "When was that?"
Gigi: "It was in the late afternoon...arouind 3pm."

Andy: "Jay came back to us at 2.30. So he was still alive half an hour later after we left? That's a miracle! You're not kidding me right? He actually survived?

Andy: "How is he? Where is he now?"

Gigi: "I don't know."

Andy: "...You don't know? But you saw him!"

Gigi: "I did. He was struggling to swim to shore. He looked badly hurt. His skull had cracked and there was blood gushing out. It was horrific. But the moment I saw your photograph something clicked. I knew it had to be him."

Gigi: "I was scared, so I just ran away. Without telling anyone."

Gigi: "I'm sorry, Andy. I should have did something."

Andy: "No...no."

Andy: "Why didn't you save him? I know you're a good swimmer. You could've rescued him!"

Gigi: "I know. The current wasn't strong that day either...but like I said, I was scared. I know I should've done something. I didn't know he was your friend."

Andy: "If you had done something, anything! Maybe he would've survived."

Andy: "I thought you were the one I could trust, Gigi. But you're a killer."

Scott: "Hiya all, it's Scott Treverton here again. It's Day 21. This marks the end of the third week of the Smole. Things are going to end soon, because we'll be advancing to the finale very shortly. So exciting. Yesterday was pretty uneventful for me after I made it to the house. It's a good thing I broought some...ahem...boredom-relieving materials. It's just a magazine. Probably shouldn't have admitted to having this on TV. Nevermind. I was flipping through, then I thought about Mika. And then I thought about the past three weeks here. It's been fun and I've created so many memories with the rest. Everyone was so quirky. Vanessa was like a bro, Denise was totally chill and free, I even got Mervyn to loosen up during the party in Starlight Shores. Thinking back at those wild, free times, I can't help but wish time would stop right there, you know that feeling? The moment where the present is all that matters, and you just want to live in that moment forever.

"I learned something from this. I've finally come to terms that I am probably gay. I realised that I watch all those straight porn because I want to be the woman, not the man. I want to imagine what it's like going at it with a dude. I also may have kissed Andy in his sleep yesterday. I don't know how he could sleep at all because I couldn't but the point is, I felt something in my heart. It fluttered, it skipped a beat, it's whatever you call it. This may be hard to accept for some of you, and to be honest it is for me. But screw it. I'm just gonna live in the moment and enjoy my present gayness. I could use the support though. Do stop by my Patreon page if you liked this coming out video."

"Contestants, it is incredible that you survived three weeks. You're one step away from the finale. Some of you are sure of who the Mole is, while some of you still need more proof. We are going to give you that last push you need. You can buy an ex-contestant's secret or alibi for 5 points. Take your time to mull it over. You have until the quiz to decide which contestant's secret or alibi you want to purchase."

Scott: "Is anybody going to do it?"

Daphne: "Nobody better. They are trying too hard to make us lose money."

Gigi: "It would be tempting but we don't know who has whose secret or alibi. So we're gambling with money. And it's pretty useless now. The odds of getting useful information is very low."

Andy: "Can we find out who owns what secret or alibi?"
Gigi: "Andy! You can't seriously be considering."
Andy: "What I do isn't your business."

Scott: "If we do, then that would change things. There are some I want to know about."
Gigi: "Not you too!"

Daphne: "It's our hard-earned money. We all have a say. Unless all four of us agrees, nobody is going to try and spend it."

Andy: "Oh and now you're fighting for transparency?"
Scott: "Woah, woah, easy there guys."

Scott: "He has the right to do what he wants. And so do you. There's no need to fight over this."
Daphne: "There absolutely is. We are all going to pretend we didn't hear this."

Scott: "You can't do that, Daphne."
Andy: "You're a killer. You killed your own parents. All because of this warped idea that they'll deteriorate. I am not going to take orders from a killer."
Daphne: "I am not going to take no for an answer."

Scott: "What is Andy talking about? Daphne killed her own parents?"
Gigi: "I'll explain it to you some other time."

Daphne: "I do not like stubborn mules."

Andy: "I never liked you either."

Daphne: "You do not get to walk away."

Daphne: "Will you stop being such a willful, petulant child? Can you not look past yourself for a damn second? What good will you gain from gaining all the secrets and alibis? If you really need them now, then you deserve to get executed immediately."

Gigi: "Let us not fight, alright?"

Scott: "Hey, I see a seat with my name on it."

Andy: "It's all yours."

Scott: "So...you look troubled."
Andy: "I'm just confused."

Scott: "I was also confused for a long while."

Andy: "It's like everything that I knew just flipped overnight."

Scott: "Did you buy any secrets or alibis?"
Andy: "No. There really wasn't a point. Did you?"

Scott: "I wouldn't dare. Not after that fight."

Andy: "That was a bad idea. I was just upset at both of them. I wished I brought my guitar along."
Scott: "Too bad, man. We could've singed and danced and jammed."

Andy: "Yeah...thanks for having my back. I'm glad I got to know you."

Scott: "Me too."

Andy: "I should go apologise to both of them."
Scott: "Wait."

Andy: "Wha--"

Andy: "What the hell?"

Scott: "I like you, Andy. Before I don't get the chance, I need to tell you that."

Andy: "I...I'm straight."

Scott: "I thought I was straight too. But I finally figured that out."

Andy: "I know I don't like guys."

Scott: "But you don't like Gigi, right?"

Andy: "I don't know how to say this, but...I don't like you."

Scott: "Oh...it's just, I thought, all those signals..."

Andy: "I'm sorry if I gave you the wrong impression."
Scott: "No, it's my fault for assuming."

Andy: "But hey, props for having the guts to tell me this."

Andy: "Urgh, my stomach's churning again."

Andy: "Was it something I ate?"

Andy: "Maybe I've gotten food poisoning."

Andy: "Wait...I've been poisoned!"

Andy: "Urrk!"

Andy: "What's happening?"

Andy: "My stomach hurts real bad."

Andy: "URRRRRRK!"

Andy: "Help..."

Andy: "Someone..."

DAY 22
************

Daphne: "I heard someone scream. What happened? Why is Andy lying on the floor?"
"Andy has been executed. Congratulations on making it to the final three."

Scott: "I can't believe he's gone. I really hoped he could make it into the finale...or not, now that I think about it. At least I won't have to deal with awkward encounters."

Daphne: "He had it coming, honestly. It's the nature of the game."

Gigi: "Oh, how can you say such a thing? Andy was the closest one in the house. We made it so far together. Now that he's gone...I don't know how to react to that. He was really a fun guy to be around and a great friend. He will be missed."

Andy is the last victim this season. Should he have bought a secret or alibi? Should anyone have, for that matter? The pot remains at 405/750 points, but one more mission can change that.
