29.11-3 second rule


Last time on the Smole, the eight contestants were locked in cells and had to escape as one. Unfortunately, Milan, Brandon and Paula chose to ditch the group, hence earning no points for that mission and making the pot 530/920 points. Milan used the correction she found and it may have helped, since Fred was the last for that quiz. Who is the Mole that eludes Fred and Brandon?

Edward: "La..."


Edward: "La..."


Joe: "Nice voice you have there."


Edward: "Oh, er...thanks?"
Joe: "I didn't actually mean it but it's always great to look on the bright side. Glass half-full, right?"




"Mission time. You will all get to fill a board with 25 numbers from 1-25. Then, like bingo, I will call out a number. Each number corresponds to a task. If you succeed, you may circle that number, otherwise you cross it. Anyone who is able to get at least one line of circles earns 20 points for the group. This is worth 160 points in total and the first to get a line of five earns three corrections. However, every contestant who completes their lines after the Mole loses 10 points."


Fred: "Let us begin."

Their first task is to make the bed, Task #7.


Cairo: "Done."
Fred: "Easy."


Joe: "There we go."


Brandon: "This is so easy."


Brandon: "I wonder if all of them are housework."


Paula: "So boring."


Savannah: "Our beds have already been made beforehand, Milan."
Milan: "Oh, right. I made it before I left."
Savannah: "Well I didn't. Someone made it. I think it's the Mole."

They return to circle/colour their board.


The next number is 18. They have to make hot dogs of at least normal quality to be able to circle this number.


They begin.


Cairo: "There is a lot of smoke."


Fred: "I have never grilled hot dogs."


Cairo: "My eyes are tearing."


Brandon: "Do I flip it over now?"


Savannah: "Oops. 3 second rule. Still fine to eat."


Savannah: "Oh no. I wasn't paying attention."


Savannah: "It's burned."


Milan: "You distracted me."
Paula: "And you distracted me!"


Paula: "I know you're not happy with me losing those 200 points but I was gong for a correction."
Joe: "Which doesn't exist."
Paula: "How was I supposed to know?"


Milan: "Disappointing. I cannot fail."


Can the guys grill better?


Cairo: "Ah!"
Joe: "You should have listened to me."
Brandon: "Mine's burned too."


Fred: "I did it."


Edward: "So did I. I knew learning to control the flames would help me one day."


Cairo: "Hurry up. I want to set this down already."


Joe: "NOOO!"
Brandon: "Chill. Don't be so dramatic. I prefer it when you were annoyingly happy."


Cairo: "Should have waited a while longer."

Time to circle or cross. (or shade)


This is task 20. Their goal: win at chess.


Savannah: "I think this will be relatively starightforward."
Paula: "Cocky? I'll own you."


Cairo: "Hurry up."
Milan: "You cannot rush dings."


Joe: "How about...here?"


Brandon: "Hmm...I always love a good strategy game."


Cairo: "Uh, uh...here."
Milan: "Oh?"


Brandon: "I'll move my pawn here."


Edward: "Do I eat you?"
Brandon: "Yeah, pretty much. But you've fallen into my trap."


Cairo: "Hurry up."


Milan: "Your turn."
Cairo: "I'm moving this."
Milan: "So quick?"


Edward: "I think I'm getting the hang of this game."


Milan: "Check."
Cairo: "What? How?"


Edward: "Where should I move this?"


Fred: "How do you say it? Checkmate?"
Joe: "Good job."


Milan: "Checkmate."
Cairo: "Damn it. I was so close."
Milan: "You are too impatient, no?"


Brandon: "Check and mate."


Brandon: "Good game...I guess."


Joe: "Are we left with them?"


Milan: "Hmm..."


Paula: "What?"


Savannah: "You lost, Paula."


Joe: "Oh, it's over?"


Paula: "I'm going to strangle myself for making that dumb move."

To circle, they must win at a sparring match against a randomly chosen opponent (not that none of the opponents thus far are not randomly chosen).


Fred: "I stink. But this is more important. I hope nobody minds."


Savannah: "We do a bow first."
Edward: "Like this?"


Joe: "You sure you want to wear that?"
Paula: "My razor sharp heels will leave you begging for mercy."
Joe: "We'll see."


And it begins.


Savannah: "Ha!"


Edward: "Nearly got me."


Milan: "You have good riflessi."
Cairo: "Did you mean reflex? If so, thank you."


Savannah: "Hiyaa!"


Joe: "Ow. Not fair."


Edward: "How am I going to beat a black belt?"


Savanah: "You don't."


Paula: "Eat my heels."

Savannah beat Edward, 2-0.


Cairo: "Stop defending."
Milan: "I just have to make him rush."


Joe: "My legs are too short."
Paula: "Ew, they smell."
Joe: "Got you."


Paula: "Cheater."
Joe: "You're one to talk."


Milan: "What?"
Cairo: "I know a bit of martial arts from my childhood. Don't mess with Cairo Kong."

Edward: "Oh, Paula lost."


Joe beat Paula, 2-0.


Cairo beat Milan, 2-0.

Savannah: "Brandon should have dodged that."


Paula: "Alright, Brandon sucks."

Joe: "She sells she...nevermind. Try again."


Savannah: "She sells seashells by the seashore."
Paula: "How?"
Savannah: "Learning Chinese helps with the h sounds."


Joe: "She sells seashells by the seashore. Yes, I did it!"


Milan: "She sells seashells by the seashore."
Brandon: "You got your 'th' sound correct for once."


Paula: "I can do this. She sells seashells by the seasrhore. Easy."


Brandon: "She sells seashells by the seashore."


"Fred, Cairo and Edward have failed. Joe is the first to get a line, so he earns three corrections!"
Joe: "Woo."


Savannah: "I really wanted it."

Let us jump a few more tasks. 19 has been called, 


This is task 8. They have to paint a picture worth at least 5 Simoleons.


Brandon: "Oh dear."


Brandon: "What do I do now?"


Brandon: "I'll paint over it."


Brandon: "It's making things worse."


Brandon: "Oh well."


Paula: "I will paint an abstarct masterpiece."


Fred: "I can do this."


Savannah: "Hmm, some final touches."

Only Brandon and Edward failed.


"Savannah has a line."
Savannah: "I'm on fire."

Skipping forward, they answer trivia. Each gets asked one question. Joe, Brandon and Cairo fail.

Skipping forward some more, this task is to run down to the bottom within 1 minute.


These 3 make it in time.

They must guess the worth of this statue.


Joe: "I don't know."


Joe: "2000 Simoleons?"


Edward: "1000 Simoleons."
Milan: "110 Simoleons."


"It is 110 Simoleons. Milan and Fred have a line."
Milan: "About time."

Evidently, Cairo and Edward can no longer get a line. Henceforth, this mission is over. 120/160 points have been earned, bringing the pot to 650/1080 points. However, all this is tentative as 10 points will be removed for every contestant who completes a line after the Mole, and we're not revealing that yet. Joe has three corrections for being the first.
